Sorry, just guessed.

no probs dude, these are the 2nd set of eyelids ive had on the car, the first set were copies of the c-west style i think, and then i found the East Bear ones so i got them and sold the others.

is this necessary? each to their own, back on topic, the thread was going well for the first few pages with minimal chit chat and plenty of kits to choose from... shall we keep it that way?

For those interested, here are some more pics of Cara's kit, it reminds me of the C-West front bar.

thanks dude, it is all about personal taste. i dont have many people tell me they think the car looks like crap or hideous, its had quite a good response thru shows and displays. my car represents me, and i dont really care what anyone thinks, i drive it, and ive built it for ME no one else :)

also with the pics of that bar, the nose isnt as long (at the top), that was one thing that caught my attention, as to me it looked a tad bit "veilside"ish. and the bar didnt have the bits on the sides either. we had to put in the side indicator mounts as the bar didnt have any :(

pics of the bar i got:

This is an Abflug front bar, they have some out there kits, not really a fan personally, here are some more pics, i dont mind the side skirts

I don't know why people are complaining about that miss34's CM4 front bar......

it looks alot better than some of the other ones i've seen

The Uras front bar makes me wanna sing "I'm Mr Plough, that's my name, that name again is Mr Plough".

The Bomex one makes it look more like a supra with a kit.

and some of the others eg. Nismo, look like they are standard factory kits.

plus it's a bit different to the usual boxy skyline bars, without being spaz like a Veilside.

Thinking of getting one myself now =)

anywhere i can get standard r34 gtr side skirts from?

Nissan perhaps, be prepared to pay through the nose for them.

Or try calling a few of the shops mentioned in the thread, DMD, carmate, PSI parts perhaps

But if you have a Gtt as per under your username, then be aware that gtr skirts will not fit without significant customizing

carmate, DMD, psi parts will be selling fiberglass ones.. if you are after originals then nissan it is.. or find someone selling some off.. but for genuine plastic ones they won't be cheap

ps post a pic of your car with the rear qtrs as there are lots on here who want to see that conversion done.. and what the cost was?

nissan want $2,500. carmate dont have standard one's what r the links for dmd n psi parts? why wont they fit? i have gtr front guards and rear quarters im only missing the side skirts to complete the puzzle

If my memory serves me correctly, the skirts are different lengths from gtt to gtr

ps post a pic of your car with the rear qtrs as there are lots on here who want to see that conversion done.. and what the cost was?

i put a couple of pics up in my gallery i have fiber glass side skirts but the issue is it sits way to low compared to the rear bar with rear pods. the cost so far i wouldnt have a clue and dont want to know lol. when the cars complete i will post cost.

hey guys i am new to these forums but i have a qestion about a bodykit and wheather it will be posssible to fit it to my 1998 gt four r34 skyline 4 doors i have attached the picture below in my opinion this is the best looking gtr ive seen

Fark, that's giving me a horn! Do you know what kit it is?

Fark, that's giving me a horn! Do you know what kit it is?

its a z-tune

some copies may exist but its not easy finding one for a gtt, i believe empire aero are in the process of making this kit for a gtt and gtr

*sigh* it's not a z-tune.

It's just a nismo kit. I believe everything was answered in the replies afterwards if you read the thread

ah woops, lol i should have actually opened the pic, im sure i have a pic of a silver gtr on a similar angle that happens to be a z-tune, hence my mistake, that said, it was all answered afterward

Sup there mate~ I need a bit of a help. If you really drive an r34 gtr, and have your stock front bumper just measure the height and width of the two vents below the turn lights. If you didn't get what I mean these two are beside the intercooler vents.

>[__]< |_Intercooler_|> [__] < These :(:D

Thanks dont forget

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
    • There is a guy who said he can weld me piping without having to cut chassis, maybe I do that ? Or do I just go reverse flow but isn’t reverse flow very limited once again?
    • I haven’t yet cut the chassis, maybe I switch to a reverse flow. I’ve got the Intercooler mounted as I already had it but not cut yet. Might have to speak to an engineer
    • Yes that’s another issue, I always have a front mount, plus will be turbo plus intake will big hasstle. I’ve been told if it looks stock they’re fine with it by a couple others who have done it ahahaha.    I know @Kinkstaah said the stock gtt airbox is limiting but I might just have to do that to avoid a defect so it atleast looks legit. Or an enclosed pod so it’s hidden away and feed air from the snorkel and below Intercooler holes like kinstaah mentioned. Hmm what to do
