just came back from the show, it was great loved every minitue of it. Plenty of burnouts and drifting and syncronised driving and the car socccer game was awsome to see live. well worth the money and very funny.

should be kicking urself if you didnt go lol

what did the rest of u guy think of the show?

Frankie

To be honest I was expecting more.. I think having read a review of Friday night's show I realised pretty quickly that they just do the same show every night and use the same jokes, there's not much ad-libbing. Some of the earlier synchronised driving shows with the cheap cars was impressive but when they brought out the expensive ones (ferraris) you could tell they had been told to keep a couple of metres apart to be sure they didn't crash :)

It was a good show I think I'm just difficult to please :D

I was at thursday nights show, I enjoyed it and was entertained the whole time, the only thing I was hoping for was a short film like in the regular tv shows or maybe even an interview with someone.

What did other people think of having Steve Pizza-Oven there instead of May? I thought it highlghted how far behind our Aussie TG hosts are against the UK guys :D

I thought it was boring, but maybe my standards are too high.

The "drifting" wasn't even drifting. It was just random skids. It was the kind of thing you see VL drivers do on Today Tonight's stock footage of hoons.

I have to agree with your comments and alu-siv_stagea's comments. It was well designed but lacking something. The addition of the australian host was useless, they should just have had the Stig play the third person. During the start one of the audience called out "fast forward the adds" which got great applause.

When he was doing the cool wall he "randomly" picked a person who ownded a porsche to talk about the porsche, he aso picked out some dumb ass "possible hearing impediment" that could not speak about anything but his dream of a commodore R8. Anyone have something similar?

Did we all get first place in the driving game???

No GTR or Nissan advertising at all.

paying for the f**king parking after coming out of the show was f**king gay!

4 ticket machines?

for a f**king stadium that holds what 50 billion people

I WAS LINING UP FOR 35 MINUTES TO PAY FOR THE PRIVILEGE OF PARKING THERE

COCK HEADS!

show was good though

You shouldve prepaid your ticket like many ppl did.

The soccer and bike stunt inside that ball was my highlight.

Driving sim and that stupid ninja act was terrible.

The Oz host, whatever his name is, was as useless as my grandmas tits. Even Clarkson mentioned to him on several occasions, "SPEAK UP!".

there was huge lines then as well

Enjoyed the car soccer game; oh yes the Alfa precision driving - but hey, for $120 there should have been a lot more.

Clarkson had to carry the show imho.

Still prefer Roy & HG for Aussie hosts imho.

Thought it was awesome!!

Much better than I expected for such a small space ..I now have a T shirt saying " I AM THE STIG" its a lot to live up to but its possible :(

Our session got the 2nd highest score in the Video game lap too...I was at the 11am Saturday show.. :( I was screaming my little head off :D

Not a bad idea Terry, they've got the charisma to lift the shows standard alot closer to the UK variant. Not sure if they have the driving skill though.

Lol hopefully the producers of Aussie TG saw Clarkson having to do that, and will realise they need to do something about our hosts...

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
