Haha, fun video, was the missus going crook :(

HAHAHA no the missus was the one filming. I had 2 timed runs at this track and both of them i hit one cone which is the same cone i hit on the first run in the vid. Then i had my third run which is the first in the vid and hit the bloody thing again. That last run u finally missed it scoring the fastest time on that track for the day. Hence her saying bout time. The other voice in the vid was a mate telling me to go home just after the first run. He had the shits as i was owning him LOL

I dont have anything new to add as next week it will have been 12 months since i have tracked the car :( But, a comeback better then ever is shaping up nicely for the new year :D

Sandown Raceway

Phillip Island

I so need more laps at this place. Everytime i look at the vid i see wrong gears, bad lines :) So many places to improve

DECA Motorkhana I

DECA Motorkhana II

The motorkhanas your in look really fast and open. Ours are alot tighter and more technical Good work dude.

Here are a few of my DECA vids. Just bought a camera, and got a mount put on my cage so hope to get some good track footage soon enough.

I like it Dane!

Best thing with yours is you'd still be able to fit tyres in yeah? (if you needed to!)

Thats one thing stopping me for my boat...I carry my semi's in the back seat and Im sure if I put a cage in, I wouldnt be able to put my 4 tyres in!

Cheers Chris, it turned out well.

There's a bit of room for tyres in the boot, but it wouldn't get 4 in, and if it did it would be a difficult squeeze! But the fuel system is going into the boot, so no tyre carrying for me

But that's what the Clubbie is for :D

a couple of mine...

My GTR at the local cart track, on street tires with tire pressure ballooning made it fun.

Milking the streeters for all there worth, giving me 2nd in my class against semi kitted EVO's and GTR's

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
    • I feel there must have been a FB/insta post and the weekend did not start well at all I hope everyone is all okay
