mick certinly does a good job...you'd expe3ct that from a ex detailer...shame to hear you cant make it i was looking forward to having a squiz at the car...

we are leaving sat morning early...going to jsut jap on the way and then should be there for the show :D

can i ask people...whats the go with sydney night life n stuff??? we are staying in homebush...where is good to go party??

Gus, I *think* Auto Salon used to do parties at the venue for participants on the Saturday nights, not sure if they're doing it for this one.

To be honest, the day itself is pretty exhausting, and being there the whole weekend can be even more so. If you're still keen to party, there's not much in Homebush, but the city is only about 20mins away. The train station is right near the halls where Auto Salon is held, so if you're staying really close to that you're in luck.

haha...not an entrant....honestly i wouldn't mind just having dinner and chillin at the bar below the hotel but mates wana go party so yeh was jw. being from canberra we dont really get to sydney much and our night life is pretty shit.

how much is a train ride and how long they run for?

and....how many cars have SAU got for a display???

We have 6 entrants

Trains actually stop going to homebush around 11 I think, so you'll need to get a taxi back (I would check this, I could be wrong)

The night life in the city on Saturday is everywhere, would be hard not to find something :P

Also, the bar in the hotel is where we partied it up afterwards... So yeah, a quiet chillin dinner probably won't happen :)

    • So either way it is gearbox out and look what is wrong?  I know about the input shaft bearing. Even before swap/new clutch the it sounded exactly like this: So is that inout shaft bearing or the other was installed backwards?  And can some please tell me the part number for that input shaft bearing? The gearbox is small box from R34 N/A and number is FS5W71C. Thank you
    • I am yet to see anyone ever regret a quaife or helical. ...other than drifting/skidpan duties. I kind of want to upgrade my factory helical with a Quaife (but really it's not ultimately that different, and is a MASSIVE UNDERTAKING), that's how good the hype is about them, that I want to try them 'just to see'
    • D2 and Ksport are essentially the same thing and basically just generic Taiwanese manufacture. Better than ChinaBay crap, but... not top shelf. Öhlins have got to be some of the best dampers around, so likely to be a good option. It's going to get to the point though where I suggest you buy from Oz. We have at least 2x excellent options here. If I were you though, I'd be talking to KW about doing something for the R33. There's bugger all difference between that and the 32. In GTR land, anyway.
    • KW only offers a set for the R32 GTR. Popular options are D2 racing, Ksport or Öhlins. I have a D2 Racing coilover set, though I don't know for sure which one.
    • Well, the good news is you have more than one very good option for new coilovers in and around your country. Worth the drive over to KW to talk about GTR stuff.
