the japs have failed, what hope do the n00bs of 2010 have?

none and buckley's?

too bad Toyota's usual modus operandii of 'rock up, dump a shit-load of money on the problem, win' didn't come to fruition. 7 years, not once on the top podium spot. ouch

F1's a very different beast to other motorsport discilpines

So to all the proclaimers in the paddock, suggesting Kimi would be at Toyota can take a long walk off a short pier

* looks at Rusty!

Kimi back at the Fez next year.... come on Luca, sign him as your third driver

* cries into glass of scotch

no no- some of the best fun next year will involve watching the ego driven meltdown re: Alonso V Massa at Team Jihad

I genuinely LOL'd at this....

I want Alfonso to hand out some Homo-esque pit lane treatment to Massa,

Massa will then quit, and Kimi will return!

well with toyota gone I just pray trulli does NOT get a drive somewhere else. I'm sick of seeing him qually up the grid then hold up every car behind him with his lacklustre race pace. plus he's always heavy as fark so they can't get to leapfrog him in pit stops.

agree on kobayashi. he's awesome. I hope he get's another crack next year somewhere.

I would love to see kimi and token at big mac. I believe kimi would show him a thing or two. god I hope I'm right, I'd be devastated if kimi got spanked by token. that would see the poms and his head grow even larger and mean more token loving BS in the BBC commentary. :P

I dunno. he is ok. certainly not the worst guy out there, but I don't think he's the best by a long shot. he had a lucky win and had the best car for 3 seasons. without the car he's been midfield just like the rest.

I don't think I've ever witnessed a season with so much happening right to the end and past the season's final GP.

We don't know where half the drivers are going to end up, we've got teams pulling out, new teams coming in. A change in the FIA president....What next?

It's a total revamp! I'm having to check planetF1 daily just to keep up with the latest.

Now there's talk that Renault might go too. If that happens Red Bull are farked!

And where would the big Pole end up? Suddenly with a big lack of top teams Kimi might have to smarten up on his pay requests as there'll quickly be more drivers than decent seats!

    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
    • So M12 and sealant should be fine?    NPT ” because that’s what I had and what I could get atm.
    • Wouldn’t touch par if they gave it to me. You need to ask how much power you’re looking to make and then add about 50% to it because that’s what you’ll end up making  The factory box says no more at about 350kw or so, the upgraded synchro boxes won’t handle much over 500kw for long and at that point you’re looking at an auto or dog engagement manual,  once you’ve gone dog engagement you may as well go sequential, they cost a little bit more but it’s worth it  also while you’re at it you should upgrade the transfer case with 10 friction plates
