Still asleep? Pfft. Sleep is for the weak. Had a work function on Friday night. Got completely blind and hit on an accountant from Head Office...great success  Got home at 4:30am blind. woke up at 6:30am, still blind. Cabbed it into work and got onto the oxygen in the first aid shed. I was completely and utterly useless on Saturday at work. Finally recovered sometime Sunday morning lol.

Now I'm smashing through bulk work trying to get everything in order for our audit on Friday. Stressful week ahead.

how did you go?

yep its monday - ewveryone is still asleep....

Got fark all done. Managed to get the interior out, but that's about it. Was on call all weekend, and it was absolutely bullshit. All the houses I was on call for were going crazy.

I will bring it back tomorrow afternoon if it's all good, and then maybe have a crack next weekend. i didn't realise heat guns were cheap, so might just look at buying one.

Actually no. Custom bilsteins and springs. Very similar to Smity's.

Love the underside shot...

I did matched bilsteins and kings in my last 33

Was a better daily on the streets and cut faster lap times at QR than my older S1 33...

So I understand your choice

should have been around my place friday night after a fellow rocked a marked camera van. he stirred a hornets nest... PLENTY of them circulating that thing I'm told. (I was in hamilton wiring a race car.)

Reminds me the time one got petrol bombed in Browns Plains, that didn't go down too well either

firebombing it is a little extreme, as there is someone sitting inside it, even if the operators are lower on the human chain than parking inspectors

whenever I see them I often think about pulling up beforehand and standing there with a sign warning motorists

I have nothing against rbt's and marked police presence, but flash for cash cameras, and other "covert" operations just irritate me, as the only benefit I am able to see from them is revenue raising.

I remember hearing it on the radio and not being surprised where it had happened haha, yeah the poor bloke inside would have been a little worried by it all.

That's a stock S1 body kit, not an S-Tune one. Makes me think it's either not a s-tune (although still a nice car) or it was in an accident.

    • This. The R34 handbrake icon DOES come up when the brake fluid level is low. You might be sitting right on that threshhold. I have been down this diagnosis path and this was the solution (and it was pretty much as full as your picture is to begin with).
    • Unfortunately the cavaet to that is that while any scan tool should be able to read the code, the workshop will need a consult plug to OBD socket adapter. You don't have a location on your profile, where are you based?
    • @Haggerty this is your red flag. In MAP based ECU's the Manifold pressure X RPM calculation is how the engine knows it is actually...running/going through ANY load. You are confusing the term 'base map' with your base VE/Fuel table. When most people say 'base map' they mean the stock entire tune shipped with the ECU, hopefully aimed at a specific car/setup to use as a base for beginning to tune your specific car. Haltech has a lot of documentation (or at least they used to, I expect it to be better now). Read it voraciously.
    • I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
    • @Haggerty you still haven't answered my question.  Many things you are saying do not make sense for someone who can tune, yet I would not expect someone who cannot tune to be playing with the things in the ECU that you are.  This process would be a lot quicker to figure out if we can remove user error from the equation.
