Yes it will - But I remember reading somewhere.....

That the ECU looks for a change in the auto box and increases the AF ratio because it thinks that the box is still sitting in first, thus making the car use a lot of fuel.

I may be wrong about the above statement, but I have used an auto ECU before in an emergency with no ill effects on a 32.

auto's can use manual ecu's. only difference is the timing retard before the gears change - which on a performance car isn't desirable anyway.

my car is auto and ive used a mines chipped ecu off a manual and it ran 100x better than i could imagine.

ran a auto ecu in my r33 for a couple of years after a conversion. would sometimes rev a little (about 1000rpm) on idle and power curve wasnt nice. put a manual ecu in and idle is good now and much smoother power curve. first pic is auto ecu on standard turbo, second is manual ecu on highflow turbo. both using safc2

you can use an auto ecu, but why bother? just get the correct ECU

also be sure to note, the auto ECU, will be checking if the car is in PARK from the gearbox

so dont be suprised if it doesnt start, youll have to find which signal wire it uses for this

the reason why I dont think Paul would like the mines ECU is because it didnt cost $1500 and come from Apexi.

I was using a mines ecu for around 9 months and for the price you're paying they are quite good. only down side is you're limited to the mods you can do to your car while using one - and that there is no rev limit. AFR's on mine on an rb25, custom GCG hiflow, cooler, exhaust bla bla bla were between 12.1 to 11.5 on 15psi, any more boost than that and it would get too lean.

    • Hey. Very valuable information about pitwork, I will pay attention when buying any consumable parts 🙏 As for the carpets - I got a handful of information from nengun, from which it appears that indeed the carpets for the driver's side are OEM. They are not able to show me any pictures due to the long chain of different sales entities but after I place the order, as soon as the goods arrive at the nengun warehouse from which they will send the shipment to me they can send me photos and if my purchase differs from OEM I can immediately return it / cancel the purchase. I think I will give it a try 😉. Of course i'll let you know what's what as soon as i get them P.s. I know the topic is not relevant to the thread, but both nengun and amayama have these SICK 😍 trunk room lamps available. Do you know anyone who ordered them? I need to have one in my car
