I'm in but just have a few questions if someone can help out

Paid and signed up for SAU - VIC club membership but don't have my member number or tag so what do I put on the form? (Do I harass Al about this one?)

I don't have an AASA license or CAMs license but is AASA license available on the day, if not where do I get one and how quickly can it be done?

Thanks

AASA is available on the day but you must bring correct cash.

as for the member number just put TBA and show the card on the day.

cheers

M

Providing all plans slot into place, I should be able to make it

First DECA since Sept 07... I think :P

What car have you got now Ross? I saw your old purple 32 on doncaster road about a month ago.

Yeah I sold the Purple car to Aaron of Rampant Performance Imports & Import Monster fame.

He loves it...although has tamed it down a little since :P

I dont think it matters - he just wants to make sure Nick doesnt have all the fun without him this time :P

You better book a house Rossco - coz you are certainly staying for the weekend festivities!!!

For Sure! Cant be letting nic get up to all the shenanigans without me

Yep, i will be staying up there this time.

Bugger it, faxed and paid just then. Not sure which car I'm coming in :)

i think you should bring your skyline ! i would if i had one........maybe one day

iv'e bought another 180sx and a silvia since last deca  so i'm in the same boat excluding my other cars, but im bringing the silvia unless hell freeze's over.

Iv'e been waiting for this thread to open, i'm glad because now i can book the motel ! thanks in advance to Micolour and all who will be involved, i had possibly the most legal fun ever, screw the results ! :(

oh also it looks like i'm bringing onlookers maybe helpers and my co-pilot promise's to get out of bed this time in the morning not 3pm. no offense to my temp co-pilot who couldn't point out i was missing the last hat on the skid pan.

paid ! and paid vince's too, paperwork yet to be faxed.

GOOD MOVE llama_au on the skyline choice ! hopefully you will be more confident and get some better skills in your big heavy skyline  and you won't get front wheels spinning up the hills on the long wang, hopefully some classy u turn's on the skidpan instead

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
