awesome, so who do i talk to so i'm in the same group as my mate vince ritchie, im not good at making new friends.

hi to all readers

p.s i'm dave and i have a problem, i like cars, infact i have way to many, it's kind of obsessive :D

or offer to video them...surprising how many friends u make then :woot:

with my crappy atck2 helmet cam i didn't bother bringing ? or my nokia n95 ? oh wait a minute i did record somebody with my n95 and it was amusing for about 2 mins, and he never spoke to me AGAIN !

p.s thanks for wacking the go pro on the gaz !

Hi dave. Just go up to people and ask for a ride in their cars. Best way to meet people.

sugestion noted

does that include 7am drives on the way to the petrol station ? because i saw a r32, with 32 on the windscreen at like 7am in sheparton @ deca 1

as for me, i was driving a gazelle, who would of known. It would have been more amusing if the S12 silvia stickers i was ordering were going to come on time, as calling my gaz a gaz is really a kick in the nuts, damm australian marketing.

no confusing names from now on, i'll just call my new silvia my girl friend, it's demanding of my time, money and i'm losing friends over her already

I have not done a DECA for ages so its about time i did 1.

I will give you the forms and payment tonight at the meeting.

for

Me (RCHOO)

and

Leon Stapley (achoo)

And if you could put us in the same group that would be great as Leon and 1 will share a car

Heh Heh good stuff Wayne...

Will be strange not to have you as a starter though!

Which brings up a good point.

Make sure everyone brings along some friends that wouldn't mind helping out with some jobs around the place...

we will need some 'flaggies' for the back track

as well as a couple of timers and startes for both back tracks..

also a starter and a timer will be needed for the skid pan in the morning.

So keep that in mind if some of your mates are keen to come along... get them involved.

all the jobs are really easy and most of them get you up and close to the action!!

We will post up a thread probably closer to the event listing jobs and who has put there hand up for them.....

but please post up any expessions of interest in this thread.

Remember if we don't have any helpers... the day simply wont run...

    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
