Endless RF650 brakefluid is used by Brawn F1 GP (and previously by BAR Honda in their F1 cars). if it works in F1 then it will be more than enough for us mere mortals.

Endless ftw >> Motul

How much for that Endless RF650 fluid Kim?

Also whats the heat rating on those???

http://www.endless-sport.co.jp/english/e-p...brake_fluid.htm

wet/dry = 218'C/328'C

comes in 500mL cans so depending on what car you may need 2 to 2.5 cans. i need to check pricing again with the distributor given the poor Yen exchange in recent months.

You may remember Dean mentioning Nolan helmets sold through John Bowe Driving for $300 including delivery and hopefully received an email about the Nolan X-Lite X-Pilot helmets.

I have found this website in the UK which sells them for GBP270 about AUD525 (scroll down to the very last helmet). http://www.helmets4u.co.uk/index.php?manuf...i260iete8d799c5

Remember that we will need helmets for the 23 Nov course and the private trackday that Adrian (rad32) is organising for the 26 Oct.

some advice re helmets - you really need to try a few of them on to get the right size before buying. this applies to bike and motorsport helmets.

one manufacturer's design will probably fit your head better than another - as i already have a Shoei motorcycle helmet i was keen on getting an Arai, but found that the Bell ones fit me better. and within the Bell range they have S M L but also 58/60/62 sizing which are half sizes and therefore allow better fit for those who fall between medium and large.

as Luke mentioned earlier, Chris is the manager at Revolution Racegear Blair Athol but i have also dealt a lot with Nathan there. they both know me quite well from my enquiries last year.

Is there any details on the course that is after the one we did, the track one? or is it still being organized

the High Performance trackday with the same John Bowe Driving team has indeed been booked for Monday November 23 - i just haven't had a chance to post the thread yet! this will be launched soon enough

as you did the course on August 25 you should already have the enrolment form for Nov 23 - Dean gave them out at the end of that day. this means that you have the best chance of securing your spot for the HP course by sending the form in now with your full payment (same cost of $385). i will not be asking for deposits this time as it's first in or miss out - i have over 40 people on the mailing list who are eligible for the 28 places offered, so please get in early! if you (or anyone else) has already sent in their form, please let me know via PM so that i can put you on the list.

cheers - Kim

should be between $60-80 each.

actually, i checked today and the retail price for the Endless brake fluid is $60rrp. i can do it for $55 per 500mL can or $50/500mL if part of a brake service (labour additional) .

Hello everyone,

Sorry to bump an old thread but I am just chasing some information on when and if there will be another event like this in 2010 or anything similar?

I had a look on the 'lala website but couldn't find anything about this?

Cheers :D

Wayne, these aren't available on the Mallala website... visit the John Bowe site for public days. I know for a fact that Kim is in the middle or organising another of these days in the coming months. Stay tuned, I'll get him to post it up here :D

If interest is there I'll launch another High Performance day with Kim also

    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
