I've sent an email to Whiteline Suspension seeking information on whether or not they have a suitable set of sway bars for the M35 :)

I'll let you know how I go when I hear from them, if they are not too sure on the car I'll drop in and see them next time I'm on the Central Coast, they are located at Somersby.

Just rang Whiteline and they are of no assistance, they don't even have anything for V35 Skyline at this point in time but maybe in the future. John from Whiteline told me to ring a mob in Sydney, so stay tuned for another update.

Why not get a group buy going through SK?

He did design the swaybars for Selby (see Andy65b's car HERE).

Got some prices, but maybe he would care to elaborate.

Anyone looking around the end of July?

I know that at least 2 of us are interested, so maybe a cheaper price for 5+?

While I was pondering the sway bars I wondered if maybe they had already been upgraded. Afterall someone put the Nismo S-Tune Suspension in so can anyone tell from these photo's if this is factory spec sway bars or aftermarket upgraded :)

They kinda look stock, i thought mine were blue in parts also thinking cusco or the like but turns out they are stock..

why not use the selby ones from australia.. about 550 for a pair delivered..

You will not be disappointing with the upgrade of the swaybars. Jetwreck has driven my car and noticed the extra response in turn in, plus making the car very balanced. It is the bang for buck you will spend on your car.

You can check if they are standard by measurement. Stock is Front = 29mm hollow, Rear is 24mm hollow.

The replacements are Front = 30mm solid with 3 adjustments, Rear = 27mm with 3 adjustments.

Now you guys are becoming Jap part crazy. Just because they come from Japan does not make them better (or cheaper).

You have a locally made part that is perfect for our car at a far cheaper price.

personally i think jap brands are better than any locally made brand, its made for the car and had testing done already.

locally they will bend a bar that 'suits' the car...

They probably do it no different to how it is done here. But it is your $ and you may spend them as you please. :D

ok dont bother with late model instrument clusters from a PM35 into an NM35. they have different plugs on the back, therefore are not plug-and-play. unless you have a service manual for both models - i missed out on the one on IM :D - then i wouldnt risk it.......

I'm at a loss Andy, I was talking about Selby's Swaybars and then you said as per above.

According to the Selby website, maybe it's not accurate it has: Front = 26mm / Rear = 22mm.

Who were you talking about getting them through? The set you refer to have a thicker diameter.

If the price is comparable I'd go for the thicker set.

mmmmmm. Interesting. Mine are Selby's.

That information must be wrong. Why would they offer sway bars that are lighter than factory? Give em a call.

Have a read of the thread writen by Sydney kid, the link is Iamhe77 post above.

They took mine off my car the work out what to make. (mine are the prototype)

Look at the group buy as this will be the best way to get them.

    • 9" wheels are a little too wide for a RWD 32. They can fit. People have put R33 GTR wheels on 32s for years and years. But they are a very tight squeeze. This has been known for about 30 years. As I said - there is no difference between a 17 and an 18 in terms of what will fit. The rolling diameter needs to stay about the same as stock - not very much larger. If you increase that, you will start to have problems. If you increae rolling diamater at the same time as yo increase width, you will have problems earlier. as 9" wheels are pushing the boundaries already, you would need to be careful with tyre choice. I would put 8.5s on the front of mine, but would expect problems with 9s.
    • post up screen shots of your injector tables
    • Diagnostic flow for a code 21 says check signal at the ECU pins, on a voltmeter of some kind it should read 0.1V at idle, 0.12V cranking, 0.15-0.25V at 2000 rpm. Check each coil such that +1, -3 is infinite or very high resistance, -3, +2 should do the same. (-1, +3), (+3, -2), (+1, -2), and (-1, +2) should all be somewhere between 0 ohms and high resistance. If you trace the path from the coil pin all the way back to the ECU in the diagram the resistance you measure at the coil vs connected to the harness should be pretty much the same. 
    • I have an elite 2500 running an adapter harness on an rb25de neo r34. I took the butterfly out and removed all that junk. But I also went Plus+t at the same time. The butterfly thing works in reverse to the boost solenoid on the Gtt if that makes sense
    • yeh they are 235/45/17 up front and 255/40/17 in the rears. I still didn't get my answer if i can fit a 18x9 up front.
