Thanks guys. I'm all up for finding these little sh*ts, taking them to the woods, and leaving them there. Nobody f*cks with a Lada.

I live in a dead-end street, but there's a walkway that joins up the SYE Tennis club and Hawksburn Rd. This is where they are coming from. I'd love to take them home to 'mummy and daddy' and explain what their little angels have been up to - whilst mentioning that 'his face was like that when I found him, must have walked into a spade or something'.

Cops were sympathetic but agree they are unable to do anything about it. Will keep an eye out in the pawn shops on Chapel for the CB. More annoyed about the damage to the car though - new console, dash panel, roof, kick panel - little f*cks.

Looking to move house anyway - just going to expeadiate the process.

I know exactly where you're talking about. Perhaps we could use a Liner as bait, stake it out and wait for them. But not mine of course:D

hmm, anyone ever heard of laws against tatooing people against their will....

i think that would have to be the best ****ing idea ever.. just tatoo 'THEIF' accross their forhead.

then let them go.. haha

Or we could tattoo "THIEF" :D:):D:)

(just having a dig Dave, no offence meant)

cows are heavy, we can set up a bunch of sleeping ones next to the offender trying to break into the bait, then when the time is right we can go a cow tipping

huskies arent aggressive, they arent gaurd dogs, they arent attack dogs, they prefer lick than bite

Man, that is like the 3rd or 4th break in or car damage we have on this forum within a month.

Sorry to hear it Jamezilla. Maybe the little punks got you CB hooked up and playing with it. Maybe you could some how jump on to the channel and catch the little f&6kers!!

Than do a satelite thingy and track them down with you balls itchy foot!! AND TEACH THESE LITTLE SCUMBAG A LESSON.

You, that is, don't bite you. Some dog owners seem to live under the delusion that because they've never been savaged by their own dog, it isn't agressive.

I've lost count of how many times a dog owner has said "Go on, pat him. He won't bite"

Right before I'm off to the docs for stiches and a tetanus shot.

Don't get me wrong Dox, I know i'm generalising here and I am not inferring all owners are irresponsible.

I just have a chip on my shoulder due to a few to many nasty dog incidents when i was young.

I apologise if i caused any offence.

I HATE YOU! GO TO HELL! DAMN YOU!

nah i understand what you mean, all owners are liable for their own dog, i only let people pat if i feel my dog is in a calm relaxed situation and im not pulling on the correction chain. same with off leash. even if my dog was trained for offleash i wouldnt want to take the risk, you dont know what they may do. i trust my girl a lot, always willing to let someone pat as long as they dont seem to aggrevate or over excite her as she tends to like to jump (she jumps high), now for this not to go off topic im gonna mention james' lada, and those barstard kids, they suck, yes they do, barstards! (not james, the kids)

thats some ****ed up shit mate! i have a sawn of shotgun, that makes plenty mess. teach em not to **** with people. then you take it back to the parents and blow them away for raising disrespectful little ****ers! then ya mess up the dog cause it was there barking at the noise! then you bury them all out the back, get some stupid little homeless friend of theirs and chain him to the burial and call the piggies! then when the piggies come along, you say look what i found! forget the bb guns, although theyre illegal, anything is possible. cough*shotgun*cough. i used to know a guy who was selling glocs and desert eagles and shit. so anything is within your grasp. we'll all keep an eye out for cb's in pawn shops and cash converters and shit. but if its hunting youre doing, i got the right tools. can i come too, cani come too? oh please daddy, wont you let me tag along.....

p.s. i may be sick and twisted but thats what being ****ed with will do to someone

p.p.s. i have to go and take my ridilin now.

    • Hi, SteveL Thank you very much for your reply, you seem to be the only person on the net who has come up with a definitive answer for which I am grateful. The "Leak" was more by way of wet bubbles when the pedal was depressed hard by a buddy while trying to gey a decent pedal when bleeding the system having fitted the rebuilt BM50 back in the car, which now makes perfect sense. A bit of a shame having just rebuilt my BM50, I did not touch the proportioning valve side of things, the BM50 was leaking from the primary piston seal and fluid was running down the the Brake booster hence the need to rebuild, I had never noticed any fluid leaking from that hole previously it only started when I refitted it to the car. The brake lines in the photo are "Kunifer" which is a Copper/Nickel alloy brake pipe, but are only the ones I use to bench bleed Master cylinders, they are perfectly legal to use on vehicles here in the UK, however the lines on the car are PVF coated steel. Thanks again for clearing this up for me, a purchase of a new BMC appears to be on the cards, I have been looking at various options in case my BM50 was not repairable and have looked at the HFM BM57 which I understand is manufactured in Australia.
    • Well the install is officially done. Filled with fluid and bled it today, but didn't get a chance to take it on a test drive. I'll throw some final pics of the lines and whatnot but you can definitely install a DMAX rack in an R33 with pretty minor mods. I think the only other thing I had to do that isn't documented here is grind a bit of the larger banjo fitting to get it to clear since the banjos are grouped much tighter on the DMAX rack. Also the dust boots from a R33 do not fit either fyi, so if you end up doing this install for whatever reason you'll need to grab those too. One caveat with buying the S15 dust boots however is that the clamps are too small to fit on the R33 inner tie rod since they're much thicker so keep the old clamps around. The boots also twist a bit when adjusting toe but it's not a big deal. No issues or leaks so far, steering feels good and it looks like there's a bit more lock now than I had before. Getting an alignment on Saturday so I'll see how it feels then but seems like it'll be good to go
    • I don't get in here much anymore but I can help you with this.   The hole is a vent (air relief) for the brake proportioning valve, which is built into the master cylinder.    The bad news is that if brake fluid is leaking from that hole then it's getting past the proportioning valve seals.   The really bad news is that no spare parts are available for the proportioning valve either from Nissan or after market.     It's a bit of a PITA getting the proportioning valve out of the master cylinder body anyway but, fortunately, leaks from that area are rare in my experience. BTW, if those are copper (as such) brake lines you should get rid of them.    Bundy (steel) tube is a far better choice (and legal  in Australia - if that's where you are).
