I do not senseless hoon. I spend lots of my wage on going to Open practice day to have my fun and I would have to say most of the neighbours love me car (they even don't mind the exhaust sound and we have a good relationship).

I found out today from police that there were 8 other cases within my neighbourhood. It appears some kid has decided to go on a random destruction spree. He is 'tagging' his damage by leaving the brick behind.

i only remeber hours ago reading your post about the valve caps

sorry to see this man

this happens way to much.

people are just sad, they get a kick out of it for 2 minutes and forget about it the next day but the people it happens to never forget about it, especially when there bank balance comes in the mail and there a -300 for a window fitting.

School holidays might have something to do with this. Had a diff rolled out of a factory yard in to the middle of the road sometime over night.

Also had my SSR valve caps stolen. That pissed me off more than you'd expect... such a pain in the ass and they only took 3.

I had two windows smashed last year about 6 months apart.

One in Elwood with a beer bottle - I heard them do it - alarm went off but by the time I was out there they were gone. Didn't stop me from driving around for the next halfa. Same thing I was being lazy not parking it around the back.

Other in Toorak - same window looked like they punched it idiots hope they broke their hand.

Never leaving my cars in the street ever again - got a garage again finally.

in my old skyline me and my mates were parked and just chatting and some blokes with water pistols came past squirting ours cars. it was night time we had just washed them and we thought it was just water. but no....it was break fluid so when we went to wash it off our paint came off to we drove around for 3 hours trying to find these f**k wits does not help being in the hoon captal of aus "bendigo" it suxed this was years ago but i hate jelous scum bags lucky one of my mates was a painter who sprayed our cars for cheap it was only on my bonnet luckly...

Damn that sucks. Not much can be done about them except thinking about how much their lives must blow that they need to get entertainment from damaging other people's cars.

I think the moral is to own/use a garage before you buy a nice car.

what I don't understand is why people do the stuff to skylines...I mean surely if you're jealous of a ride there are more 'envious' cars to own.

I mean strictly speaking price wise there's much more expensive gear out there like the european cars that I don't believe cop as much flack. Even a new HSV/FPV is going to cost more than most skylines so why bother?

Those cars are hardly ever parked outside at night.

'Tag' him in the head with a brick.

ROFL

Bastards. Should've grabbed the pistols and squirted it in their face.

is your car loud? could be annoyed neighbours or something i'd hate to be my neighbours, myself a n/a r33 with a droney loud exhaust on cold starts and my brother with a gtst with a massive 3.5" exhaust and he warms it up for like 3 minutes in the morning LOL

LOL I hear that man. Hamish and I live in a group of 4 townhouses with another 4 townhouses in close proximity next door. 2 skylines with 3in exhaust and decats, starting every morning would do your head in.

question still needs to be asked:

So do you drive like a dickhead, and, being a conspicuous car (and number plate), you've pissed someone off? Be honest here.

while there are "random acts of vandalism", there are many more provoked ones...

still feel for you though.

it was Marcus!!!

"take him! he's the one that wronged you!" :3some:

sux teh balls mate ;)

oh and warming your car up for 3 mins = useless

nahh.. Ben is pretty good from what i see. he puts on his silencer before starting his car so he doesnt annoy the neighbours and takes it off when out. thats good neighbour hahah.. i start up my silvia in the morning and the vibration sets off skyline alarm so i have to unlock skyline before starting silvia then lock it when i leave... now that would get annoying hearing in the morning.. but all my neighbours have noisy cars so it all works out LOL

    • Haha, i kow right? Could have bought so many cars for the same amount of money (or less) but driving Unicorn gives you at least +1mln to style 😅. Like wise man said "life's to short to drink cheap wine and drive boring cars" 😉
    • Newbie here, proud owner of an Autech 260RS. I'm on the hunt for wiring diagrams specific to the 260RS, particularly S1. I've ran my eyes through R33, R34 Diagrams, there are some similarities, however continue to find incorrect wire colours and pins on connectors in the 33,34 diagrams.   I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I'd be happy to pay for the originals in Japanese. I can translate them, at least they would be accurate.   Any help please would be greatly appreciated, never heard an RB26DETT before let alone driven one, and I've got a spaghetti monster of goodness to sort out.   Cheers Benny
    • Hey all  im wondering if you can help me please I have put a rb20 box in my r34 gtt as my auto packed up and a friend had a spare box I know it’s not ideal but it will get me up and running for now. we have done the conversation and everything is working great but my Speedo we got a s13 speed sensor but my Speedo reads double now and I bought a speed converter but still not having any luck.  so I thought I’ll reach out and pick your brains  any help would be appreciated please as I wanna drive my car again
    • Drain it. I got official Matic D but you can get whatever is listed as Matic D compatible.
    • Thanks guys,  Yeah I should at least have them dynoed, at least then I know what I've got as a starting point.  The springs on these are hard as rocks. I vaguely remember Russman saying he was going to sell the shocks to me with the rocks fitted, as he was keeping the softer springs for his new setup.  I didn't click at the time but of course that was to let me know the shock/spring wouldn't be matched.  I also remember pricing up new springs around 2014-15, but, house, money etc. it never happened. So that was another reason to have them rebuilt. I have rebuilt the forks on many motorcycles so I think I could handle the seals on these easily enough, but getting the valving right would be a rabbit hole I cbf exploring.  Duncan, interesting to hear RP was tuning these back then. I might give them a call.  In the mean time I have been busy fitting sway bars. The Whiteline rear sway bar I purchased 15 years ago finally got fitted, along with the Whiteline front bar that showed up last week. Just waiting on new links for the front sway bar to finish that off.  And my spare set of advan AVS VS5's should be back from the powder coaters in a Pearl White finish sometime this week, with a set of Hankook RS4's lined up for fitting.  And then I just have all the suspension bushes to do. A comprehensive kit is on the way... Lots to do before the Ararat hill climb. Cheers guys 🍻
