Very nice !!! just curious why you didn't go with the Top Secret side skirts like everything else, i think they look a hell of a lot better then anything else on the market they seam to flow with the lines of the 34 where as the nismo or nismo style make the car to boxy looking .

Thanks a bunch!

The Top Secret side skirts you mentioned aren't really side skirts at all. They're sold as side protectors on their website. The reason why I didn't go with them is because they only run up 1/3 the side of the car and only the rear portion. It didn't seem like there was anything extra on the sides. I wanted flow from the front diffuser to the side skirts. =)

Here's a picture of them before they are fitted.

This is what it looks like on the car.

Looks great!

The Top Secret rear Spats like the Nismo side skirts for the R32 GTR looks nice too.

But still your carbon fibre one looks just as good.

+ you got some sweet ass deep lip on the TE37's.

*laughs* Thanks, they're 19" 9.5jj. I've got a friend who just got 19" 10.5jj in bronze. Should be a little more deeper. Will get some shots .

Yeah definitely the z-tune skirts look better, its an addition rather than the top secret ones which look like they were just stuck on.

big fan of your car dark child!! thanks for the inspiration

Thanks Johnny! Do share some pictures of how your ride it coming along. :)

Some day time shots I snapped quickly today.

Here are a couple more shots a friend of mine took today in the day time.

He says I have a carbon obsession and that I should get the doors, fenders, trunk and complete wing in them too. Painted of course.

you sir, have a severe case of the carbonitis.

I'm guessing the rear diffuser is kevlar though?

*laughs*

The Top Secret Rear Diffuser is a carbon fiber item, the Top Secret Vortex Generators on each side, on the other hand, are kevlar. A little contrast from the carbon bits. :)

Thats the best white r34 gtr ive ever seen. Dont know what else you could do to it great work..

Thanks!

I had the Do Luck fenders in mind actually as the Top Secret bumper is very round.

Thanks guys! I'm sure you have equally awesome rides.

Yeah the Do-Luck fenders look pretty cool with the vent on the side.

But I still like the Z-Tune with vent at the top corner.

If not, go Sunline Racing front guards as they are based on the Z-Tune but a bit more aggressive.

Top Secret Front bar is like a Nismo Front bar but a few edges have rounded off but the opening for the FMIC looks great on it tho as it fits so perfect around it.

    • Then, shorten them by 1cm, drop the car back down and have a visual look (or even better, use a spirit level across the wheel to see if you have less camber than before. You still want something like 1.5 for road use. Alternatively, if you have adjustable rear ride height (I assume you do if you have extreme camber wear), raise the suspension back to standard height until you can get it all aligned properly. Finally, keep in mind that wear on the inside of the tyre can be for incorrect toe, not just camber
    • I know I have to get a wheel alignment but until then I just need to bring the rear tyres in a bit they're wearing to the belt on the inside and brand new on the outside edge. I did shorten the arms a bit but got it wrong now after a few klms the Slip and VDC lights come on. I'd just like to get it to a point where I can drive for another week or two before getting an alignment. I've had to pay a lot of other stuff recently so doing it myself is my only option
    • You just need a wheel alignment after, so just set them to the same as current and drive to the shop. As there are 2 upper links it may also be worth adding adjustable upper front links at the same time; these reduce bump steer when you move the camber (note that setting those correctly takes a lot longer as you have to recheck the camber at each length of the toe arm, through a range of movement, so you could just ignore that unless the handling becomes unpredictable)
    • I got adjustable after market rear camber arm to replace the stock one's because got sick of having to buy new rear tyres every few months. Can anyone please let me know what the best adjustment length would be. I don't have the old ones anymore to get measurements. I'm guessing the stock measurement minus a few mm would do it. Please any help on replacing them would be fantastic I've watched the YouTube clips but no-one talks about how long to set the camber arm to.
    • Heh. I copied the link to the video direct, instead of the thread I mentioned. But the video is the main value content anyway. Otherwise, yes, in Europe, surely you'd be expected to buy local. Being whichever flavour of Michelin, Continental or Pirelli suits your usage model.
