Recommended Posts

Well i was thinking about putting:

Work Emotion XD9's Bronze [with the blue wheel nuts]

5-114.3 18X8.0 +35 [F]

5-114.3 18X9.0 +38 [R]

and a full Impul body kit front, side skirts and rear.

on this car:

Do you think it would look good or............? <---- Imput ideas  Would love to hear it before spending some money on looks for this car.

Ideas like should keep the rear wing or get it removed? etc etc

Thanks for all the help and advice in advance

im a bit biased but i love black on black, so some black gt-c's with the silver lip (which would be a similar look to what you have now) would look hot,

There are a lot of fans of the impul kit out there, i like the impul side skirts, but think maybe a top secret front bar and possibly a do-luck rear, or even do-luck skirts and rear with a top secret front bar, either gtt or gtr style

big fan of impul here too (have the sideskirts) but IMO the whole kit looks best on a light coloured car ... on a black one you can't really see the curves/details on the bumper bar at all.

I've got a nismo (not nissan altia) rear bar, impul sides and nothing at the front atm .. thinking of getting this for the front but worried about clearance http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nissan-GTR-Skyline-...%3A1%7C294%3A50

Oh and bronze wheels look great on a black skyline but I'd go for something with less spokes (5-6 tops) Check out the DTM Z7 Bronze wheels in the trader section, cheap, light and look great.

Any pics of 34 GT-T's with the DTM Z7's? Im interested :P

can also be abit more aggressive with the widths/offset of the xd9s..

As in? I thought the offsets / size i chose for the 34 would sit perfect with the guards?

Impul will look great man, on a black car the front bar looks a tad more aggressive in my opinion, impul sides and rear look very sleek and flow good. If i didnt have my ztune sides i would get impul. I got a top secret front bar and also id probably substitute for impul front if i wanted a different look.

Either get smoked or clear indicators

Wheels: im a fan of black on black also, but i think any quality jap wheels will set it off well. need good width and good suspension setup and ull be good to go. keep searching for different pics and go with what u love. All our opinons mean nothing in the end its ur car dude so make it ur idea. Just dont lose ur composure and put the massive trolley factory wing on!

P.S did u just buy that of the net? or are you the guy trying to sell it? cos ive seen that car on a couple sites for sale.

Check this out, i think it looks hot. id wack different wheels on tho.

    • Maybe of interest, a little while ago I spoke to one of the guys from Rajab Racing Developments and he hinted to me they could be developing a new cast exhaust manifold. Incidentally, they have already made one for the barra and it looks functional
    • So Bathurst coming up so really need to get this new ECU in. I regret going to flex fuel and all the headaches associated with DBW with cruise etc....a miss the simplicity of Power Fc   I make enough power that I should have just gone back to 98 but...anyway Turns out with the std inlet I cant really go any bigger than 60mm DBW so wasnt able to play with that aspect of the update.
