yep was painted by Trevor, aka MadHatter. i saw some of his work and he's a genuine guy so i went with him. Between myself and the previous owner over $50000 has gone into the car. Im looking at seliing for $22,000 but that is very negotiable. I know its a bit high, but its in great condition, and has been serviced every 5000.

is that alecs car in the pic? he is down here in S.A now. can you give me a rough price? my 32 with rb25 which made 300rwkw was stolen and burnt out. looking at a replacement

Ah cool,

Ive spoken to him a few times to arrange to get my car sprayed. He seems like a decent bloke and ive only read good things about him so looks like its another point to him :(

the referance was to people saying what a sick paint job your reply was yes it was done by trevor etc

please be more specific i have had people call me and say why is your car for sale in brisbane ??

u can use the photo but dont take credit for the car or paint

Funny enough my vehicle has very similar mods and same power output.

take care please

Attached are a few pics of the car. Sorry about the car being a bit dusty, but we didnt get a chance to wash it as we were in a hurry. Ill try and get some pics of it clean, but i hope this is an indication of the car. Before the new buyer take posession of the car, ill have it professionally detailed, and all piping re-polished in the engine bay. The car is currently being re-assembled after the re-spray. All badges were removed as was the rear wing, to make it look cleaner and to have a lower profile. The front bar was modified to allow more airflow to the intercooler, as the standard one obstructed it a bit. Feel free to ask if you have any further questions, have a good one.

    • This is a recipe for disaster* Note: Disaster is relative. The thing that often gets lost in threads like this is what is considered acceptable poke and compromise between what one person considers 'good' looks and what someone else does. The quoted specs would sit absurdly outside the guards with the spacers mentioned and need  REALLY thin tyres and a LOT of camber AND rolling the guards to fit. Some people love this. Some people consider this a ruined car. One thing is for certain though, rolling the guards is pretty much mandatory for any 'good' fitment (of either variety). It is often the difference between any fitment remotely close to the guards. "Not to mention the rears were like a mm from hitting the coilovers." I have a question though - This spec is VERY close to what I was planning to buy relative to the inboard suspension - I have an offset measuring tool on the way to confirm it. When you say "like a mm" do you mean literally 1mm? Or 2mm? Cause that's enough clearance for me in the rear :p I actually found the more limiting factor ISNT the coilover but the actual suspension arms. Did you take a look at how close those were?
    • @GTSBoy yeah sorry i know thery are known for colors bud those DBA are too in colors 🙂 Green will be good enough for me
    • That's my life. Past-Duncan has a lot to answer for
    • Yep four point harness. Mounted to a bolted in brace running behind the seats. Dont use it for daily driving tbh but good to have for when its needed plus it looks cool.
