All logic goes out the window in the wet....fark knows how to drive a car quick in the wet :P Especially on slicks, a light car and damp...with a car pulling away in front so you just want to push on and cath him :(

Me? I would have been ff at turn 3 lap 1

The only thing constructive i can say is you either drive the thing mega straight off boost and light throttle openings so as not to slide the thing...OR you just punt the thing sideways on every corner...you are sliding it and anticipating the slide so it doesnt catch you out and also helps throw heat into the tyres ....lol listen to me, it works when i drive go karts in the wet :)

If you're referring to me then don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go at all and I'm sure he is much more experienced and better driver than I am! Apologies if it was taken the wrong way but I did try and clarify with "to each their own", just saying it was a different style to what I'm accustomed. :P

Was there much damage?

Brilliant car. Does it really need a 900hp RB26/30? lol

Unfortunate accident though. It seems he was still on it as he was turning left and the rear end of the car just came around on him under boost. Not much he could have done in that instance.

Do you have any external pics of it?

Fixed

Fark me ... look at those tyres. No wonder it has good traction! :/

How does the little Caterham thingy in the background go? After driving one recently i want to buy one and throw my money away on another car project that I'll never get around to finishing.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
