"Human growth hormones...is that an offence?". lol.

this show is just proving that sometimes the cops are as stupid as the crims, why is this nuffty cop still arguing, just write the ticket and move on.

Notice how the cop is also dressed up like he is a 20yo.

Chaple street next week was it ?

and the bullshit they tried to pin on that girl, fair enought 151k's, but saying it took her more then 100meters to slow down, and she nearly ran a cop over ? if the dickhead cop know's anything about OH&S the brainless prick wouldn't of jumped near the car, and where their red glow stick's they use at booze bus stations to wave cars.

So true Brett. For the most part they seem like a bunch of dumbasses lol. Makes sense though, I mean, it's not like you need to be particularly intelligent to be a police officer hey?

Who reckons officer De Winn (spelling) enjoys the company of other women?

I was thinking.. going at 151km/h on the Hume where there's no street lights around, I'd probably believe that she didn't see them until last minute and it would take 100m to stop anyway.

And they said she didn't stop straight away, if you watch the footage, she had hit the brakes already by the time she passes the camera.

Stupid to speed like that anyway but cops on the Hume said the same about a friend of mine.. that he showed no intention of stopping straight away :S that footage looked pretty clear to me.

was on the calder

Nothing good can come from this "show". Within a few weeks there will be a 'media portrayed import owner' with the 'attitude' to go along with it. Just what we need in a loosing battle.

atleast the speeder was a young chick in a bmw not a muzza in a 33 telling the cops to go f**k em selves and that he does that sort of shit everyday and is the sickest driver in the world.

I liked the show, I thought it was funny! There were a few of us watching it, and we had plenty of giggles.

I know import owners like to think the police spend all of their time chasing you but really they don't. Ive had my fair share of defects over the years and its great to see that they haven't skewed the show at all to import owners. I think that can only be positive for us and im unsure why there is always a need to bag the cops, they are just doing their job, bad attititudes towards cops i'm sure you are bound to have some bad run ins with the law. This is not aimed at anyone on here specifically, its just my opinion

I agree that the P plater did stop as soon as soon as the cop tried to run in front of her car doing 150 kmph, and she certainly didn't try to hit him, he ran out on the road in the middle of the night and she braked immediately. However she shouldn't have been going 150kmph and I thought she took the penalty pretty well and was amusing to watch! At the end she had a little smirk on her face because she knew that she was speeding. ;)

Highlights for me:

- Lady talking on the phone, when the cop shut the door on her passanger while the passenger was still talking.

- Scary lady cop was very funny and I wouldn't like to run into her on the wrong side of the law.

- The mother on steriods, classic!

- Of all the speeding motorists they could get they got a 18-20 year old girl in a BMW, that really delivers a message to the audience that there isn't always a specific stereotype that gets caught speeding. I also wonder how they got her home to Bendigo from the Calder freeway.

Looking forward to next week, I figure if your stupid enough to drive your modified import down chapel st on a friday or saturday night you deserve a defect! I live in the area and I don't take my car anywhere near that strip...

Bring on hoons vs cafe patrons. :P

I Wanna know why he wasted his time there, give her the fine and move on, it was clear she was gonna argue all night if she had the chance.

She was 22 and she was either smiling because she is stupid or because she was getting her 15mins of fame.

They said it was in StKilda so im guessing fitzroy or acland st not chapel st, unless the people making this show are from sydney then it could be anywhere from acland st to lygon st.

Dam I missed this weeks show!

Better start setting up a weekly timer recording on my DVD/HDD recorder for it.

Jeez. Good thing that BMW ad was banned before any "hoonish behaviour" came from it :D

the other thing i found funny was when the cop said that when she was doing 151km/h the car would be screaming its head off and she should be able to hear it easily, as if, maybe if she was in a hyundai excel. i lol'd at that comment for a while.

I also wonder how they got her home to Bendigo from the Calder freeway.

It sounded like she was able to drive it back to Bendigo but had to drop it off at the impound there.

I prefer the NZ motorway patrol but I guess this could improve in future episodes.

Right at the end you see her leaving in the passenger seat of a white car, personally the best i would offer her is a lift to a servo so she can call some one who cares, i know if i got done doing that they would not give a f**k how i was going to get home but because the camera's are there.........

Definitely better produced, too many ay's tho ay bro.

    • Wife wanted basket things in the wardrobe in our temporary house. Thought about ripping our the wardrobe and fitting the entire IKEA set, but it's a temporary house and we want to move in a few years. So IKEA advertises this as a 50cm unit, however the actually basket and rails measure 46cm wide. Only issue was depth, IKEA stuff is quite deep, where as the builder special junk is super shallow at less than 40cm. Send it, chopped the rails, then offset the mounting holes, job done, happy wife, less shit scattered all over the bedroom. Did the same to the other side too. Also drove the Skyline shit box today, dropped off oil at Supercheap Auto. I didn't realise they only now take max 2x bottles per visit. I visited 2x Supercheap Autos.
    • I've seen similar actually in my situation. You never know what tables are attempted to be used when the car thinks it's -99C or +200C. The fail state is not usually that extreme but you know what I mean - it was in my case though! This is where being able to read all the sensors is useful cause you see this stuff really quickly.
    • The above is very important. However as long as you keep timing relatively low, it's plausible to make your own knock ears and plausible to learn to tune with a modern ECU that can do wideband O2 correction like a boost controller. I mean if you only have one viable road to even drive the car on, learning to tinker to this level may be worth doing given you can't do much else with the car...?
    • I find the fact that the rear plate has to be bent inwards at the rear not so bad: but the front is just awful: It's like come on. (these are my very old, now retired/turned in plates) TBH it is a lot of money to fix a minor issue, the fact I said "I'll never really spend the money on doing this" is why people ended up buying them as a gift for a 'car guy' who can be hard to shop for.. for car guy things.
    • I just bent the ends of my premo plates. It even went through Regency like that after the engine conversion and the inspector (a great bloke!) just squinted his eyes and said "I didn't see that". Plates, and how they look, are just something that have zero importance to me.
