just bought a nitrous system for 700 buks, second hand but never been used. come with a 25lb bottle and bottle warmer!!

Planning on hooking it to my rb20 "32 A.S.A.P

Just wondering on the power increase figures?? It come with a 150hp "jet" and a 200hp "jet"

I no what the jet does and so on but im wondering it this will give me an instant extra 150-200hp?

And mostly will the motor be able to handle this NOS!

What is currently done to the car? We talking a wet kit or a dry kit? What brand? Lol i wouldnt be putting such high jets into the car if it is fairly standard, that is a lot of nitrous and fuel and if you don't know what you are doing you will kill it instantly. Use a 75HP shot and see how you go, work your way up. Make sure your injectors and pump are good. Do you know much about nitrous? By the sounds of things i don't think you do. Take it to some one that knows what they are doing, if not you will do some damage...

Power figures vary from engine to engine, but in essence yes, it will give those approximate numbers if the fuel jet and nitrous jet are the right sizes.

there is a place in ballarat that refills the bottle

getting DR DRIFT to do the install and potential tune and its only guna be used for racing purpose only.

And na i dont need nos to get past the 180, because its hits 180 in 3rd with an auto....

    • Actually, if having and keeping the stock ECU is the plan, the correct answer is to put Nistune into the ECU and improve the situation, not just look at it.

    • Yeah so physically that port is consult not OBD2, but also be aware that "JODB" is not really a thing - it came in around 2000(ish) but is not a standard like ODB is, each manufacturer had differences. If you are looking at ECU only and have a standard ECU, go with Datascan as Turbo Tapin said. Per another recent discussion here thought that won't do other systems like in a modern car, for example bleeding ABS
    • They're not rebuilt Racepace items. They were mint. From memory the were ex display stock that I bought off yahoo and he ran....from memory he barely used the REs when he replaced them with a set of Tein RS If have been stored correctly and not leaked fluid then they will be mint   As an observation the Racebuilt rebuilt Tein RA/RE/RS were a better street/club/track package. Really nice on the street and did good numbers at the track.  I think the factory Teins wont match the Racepace valving on the street but would be in the same window of performance on the track... albeit firmer
