copping a 6 month suspension and a $600 fine. but considering what they couldve done me for, that isnt too bad.

you possibly have very bad phone lines or live like 7km's from your exchange, the further you are from the dslam the more 'overhead' you loose (my terms and thinking may not be 100% correct but very close :)

log on to router, and there should be a status page there that tells you all you need to know

it also depends on the line profile selected on the internode end - you can check this/change this using your account login.

also if you log into your modem, ensure that it is set to use G.dmt modulation rather than g-lite or ansi

Another thing to do is to disconnect every phone device from the phone extensions in your house (including line filters) and just run the adsl router by itself - if you notice that there is a speed increase after doing so then it points towards attenuation on the line due to either a faulty line filter or bad cabling.

If it is a Billion modem, open IE/Firefox/Chrome. In the address bar type 192.168.1.254, you will be asked to log in, Username: admin, Password: admin. You shall now see the status page.

All other modems will be similar, only differences being the IP address and maybe the log in details.

    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
    • Saw this replica police car based on a Mitsubishi Starion XX parked next to a 'police box' (it's literally a box) in Hirohata, Himeji City in Hyogo prefecture the other day. It's owned by Morii-san who is a local Mitsubishi Starion enthusiast. According to a local radio station blog post, he always wanted to make a police car himself based on ones he saw in his favourite Manga comics.  As it's illegal to modify a car to look like a police car and drive on the road, Morii-san tried many times to get permission from Aboshi police station headquarters nearby. They refused initially by after they got tired of that they granted him permission. However, the car can only be displayed on private property and obviously can't be registered as long as the police livery is present. The car was completed at a cost of 1.5 million yen (US$ 10,000) in addition to the car cost. A location was chosen outside Hirohata Police box where the car can easily been seen from the street. Morii-san has two other Starion road cars, both widebody GSR-VRs.
