spotted a dark grey R33 GTR on the Cumberland Highway near the m5 entrance thingy... well that's not exactly where but it was around there...

Drove up beside him and gave the thumbs up. He did the same, then dropped to third and floored it. I then did a flyby in 2nd.. hehe good times :P

Spotted rukus as I was stopped at a set of lights, caught up with him at the next set and said gday

the new plates look good :D

also spotted craved, that car is a absolute animal!! and looks awesome!!

and spotted a stock silver series 2 R33 .. MSp somthing :)

Spotted two R33 GTS25t's at the Winsto on Saturday arvo/night - one was black (rear car park - saw it from a distance) and one was wine red (out front - clean as).

I was there from about 2.30pm until about 10.00pm.

Good ol' Winston Hills Tavern.

I spotted a silver R33 GTS-T on norwest blvd yesterday afternoon about 4pm... I was turning off, the car had red numberplates :D

Also spotted a R33 on Windsor Road yesterday morning about 9am or so... flashed my lights and he flashed me back :)

Some weekend spottings:

Spotted a r32 GTR (or GTR kit/flares) on Warringah Rd Friday morning at a red light.

Spotted JNR-32R or something somewhere I can't remember where.

Spotted some white r33 somewhere.

Spotted some white r34 somewhere.

I can't remember locations lol but if it's anyone here think back to the weekend to see if you saw a cefiro.. I was in my car all those times :D

spotted a white R34 GTT and we thought it was a GTR and we go noooo way a R34 GTR they are rare as... just up the road only half a minute after we see an actual White R34 GTR passing by!!! this was hume highway crossroads. I seen this white R34 GTR over a year ago in campbelltown.

how cool is that

OK fellas, I want to know who owns that nicest R33 GTR that even apeals to me (I prefer 32). I see this car often at Hurstville parked in station rooftop plate AMS-09K with SAU label across the rear windscreen. This 33 demands respect on first sight! :D

spotted MADGTR

:drooling:

that thing is beyond hawt.

I was on my way out to Oran Park with my MUM!, had a great arvo and clocked out a 51 sec lap on my sh!tty road tyres.

Mum got to watch a drift session, and for some one who has never owned a car she is a smart one. She stated "Sh!t that must really wreck your car, and you need to be crazzy to drive like that" how true she was.

    • Have you done the Ignition Sync Wizard in the AEM software?
    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
    • I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.
