Spotted an absolute idiot in a Silver subaru rx hooning thru traffic at about 120km/hr on the Pacific Hwy ;)

Rego was AZL*** if any of you see this idiot, beware! Moron thinks he bought a race car, sorry mate but my dad drives one of those and they are slow :P

Oh and also saw Anna's beast in Westfield carpark, getting cleaned I think? Wash it yourself! :ph34r: Oh and were those rims on it before the upgrades? They look real nice.

Spotted a very nice r32 gtr burgandy on richmond rd...GTRSean maybe? A white s1 r33 with purple pearl gtr kit on resovior rd a nice ACT regd 4door r33 purple with a big kit also on resovior rd blacktown & also a s2 r33 silver with the 4door front bar also in blacktown. Also an r33 Gtst plates HOT.33R purple with 20's on great Wst Hwy Wenty

& r33 gtr Canary Yellow DR GTR in Austral Bricks Car park ferrers rd eastern creek

Spotted a white R33 GTR "GB" on Pacific Highway going north from about chatswood at 8.30 this morning ;)

Also seen a yellow R33 with what looked like a 400R front bar in pymble..seen it there a couple of times now..

spotted MZR33T today at Hornsby... gave a wave and got one :):rofl:

spotted a silver R32 GTR plates 321 GO on the F3 yesterday morning, very tidy :)

Spotted you two mornings in a row..... no wave, no nothing.... dropped :(

spotted Anna, smoky, Ando having many a beer! :(

Meh washing it yourself takes time and effort, see post above.... I didn't have the energy! Nah I had my Volk's (SF Challenge) on before... now it has the Nismo LMGT3's I picked up a few months ago.... Not sure if I likes em yet....

Geez.. I never used to get spotted ... now its just an onslaught! lolz

spotted black r34 with a big nismo sticker on the rear vision mirror parking in chatswood westfield 2nd floor carpark at 10am this morning, also spotted the driver at the travels agents 10 minutes later :( . nice ride btw ;)

    • They are under bucket shims. Tomei provides a test shim kit and then any measurement of shim required. 
    • I always wondered how you were supposed to buy a set of 24 buckets and somehow magically have every single one of them yield exactly the desired clearance. I would have thought you'd need to assemble a cam with either 12 "sample" or "example" buckets of known top thickness (or a single such sample/example 12 times over!!) measure clearances at every valve, and then do the usual math to work out what the actual "shimness" of each bucket needed to be, before buying the required buckets to make up he thicknesses that you didn't have on hand.
    • I now seem to be limited in power due to my rev limit/hydraulic lifters in my built RB25. I'm looking into converting over to Tomei solid lifters. Question for anyone that has done the conversion. I was always under the impression that when using the Tomei solid lifter conversion, you would also require new valves (Longer or shorter stems, I can't remember which).  I don't know where I got this idea, as so far I see no mention of this in any of the Tomei documentation. It just states I need the Tomei solid buckets, solid lifter cams and upgraded springs. As my head is already built, all I would need is another set of 1000$ Kelford cams, 500$ buckets and about 4H hours of my time installing and I'm off to the races!?!? There's no way it's that simple, I must be missing something?
