Brendan was only paying attention to the race track Kel, you'll notice he didn't even add my car in there :spank:

it's ok... we held up the fort for the car park massiv aiii

hey SW20-GT, was that you having the run with the red sprinter on saturday at EC?

nah mate.... I was at work on Saturday

I will be out @ EC tomorrow night for the off street meet

btw, did he win?

actually it was pretty much dead even the whole time! SW20 had r540's big carbon wing, suspension (brand?), and enkei's. while the sprinter was running a CA18DET - on 7psi with street tyres, lowered king springs, plus 330mm brakes from a saloon car. mad run to watch.

That's cos people are blinded by the $$Bling Bling$$ wheels careening towards them and avert their eyes. :devfu:
Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion man.

I didn't have them on yesterday and I was definitely careening. That turn 2 is a bitch. I don't think I got it right once.

Abo Bob - Oxford st/college st is all my area! I work just on liverpool st...at amex so i'm surprised i haven't seen you driving around....and i can't believe i missed the drift!!! a bit of warning next time would be nice!!!

I would have appreciated the warning myself :D although it turns out I didn't need it :D I work just down the road next to the Sheraton on the Park.

Don't drive it to work too often (too expensive) but when I do I usually park over at the swimming pool.

I'm on the top floor of the Tattersalls building, between the Sheraton and StJames Trust. Got the million dollar view just need to get the pay packet to match!

OO!!!! you're one of those people that lives extremely close to the city! lucky!!! I need to move!

Doctor - Serious!!! I'm at 175 liverpool st...in TNS...hehe...we're the ones that set up 480 George st for you...and i've been back a few times to the comms room!

Moanie,

That funny, probably walked past you and said hello a couple of times.

I resigned about almost 2 weeks ago now though.

nah i doubt it.... i work on level 13 and we never get visitors unless it was someone we're working with on a project...and i'm a snob so i never said hi to anyone at george st

Few today!

- GDZLLA, Green R32 GTR, I couldnt believe theres another out there... travelling down Victoria rd.

    • Yea that's a fair assumption. I'm presuming they call them solid lifters as they have no moving parts like hydro lifters.
    • I believe you're confusing WMI with water injection. Looking at that graph, the 93aki+WMI car is making more power than C16 race gas. Boost juice, which is what I also run, is Snow Performances 50/50 premix.
    • GCG is a good company, they're a major distributor for Garrett in Japan as well.
    • Nah, OEM washer bottle and brake fluid reservoirs are fine I don't know what it is with the plastic that Mazda used, some plastics, like the washer bottle and brake fluid res are fine, and still look new after 20 years use, where as the coolant expansion tank, and PS reservoir, that I replaced with new OEM items when I first got the car, turned yellow and started getting brittle a few years later If the dirty yellow stained plastics didn't trigger me there wouldn't be an issue, but they did, much like the battery bracket....... Meh As for going back to work full time to support car stuff, nope, why, because I own a Mazda NC MX5, not a Nissan R series Skyline 🤣
    • I've never heard of CJ-motor, so can't advise you on them. I'd just go straight to GCG for a GCG highflow though. Seems no point to use a middleman. I'm somewhat surprised that the price on the CJ site is lower than the GCG retail price. Even though CJ would get a discount of some sort, you would hardly expect them to give up so much margin. Maybe the price is out of date? Having said that "I'd go to GCG"...when I did my highflow, I went to Hypergear. I did this https://hypergearturbos.com/product/rb25dethighflow/#tab-dyno-results with the R34 OP6 450HP profile. With the BB centre (extra $400) and intially with the standard boost actuator, but I eventually got him to send me the high pressure one when I got to the point of being able to actually use it. Ends up costing the same sort of money as the GCG highflow, but this is, of course, the turbo that I KNOW has a shorter length core and so moves the comp cover rearwards. The GCG apparently doesn't do that. My mechanic also swears by the GCG highflow, given that we have another turbo rebuilder who does something essentialy the same as theirs, using Garrett wheels. He says it stands up at really low revs and makes good power. I haven't pushed my HG highflow past ~240-250rwkW yet (should have a little more in it, but unclear how much) and it does have a fairly gentle boost ramp. OK, it's much better now that I have gotten my boost controller tuned up on it.  A lot of my earlier unhappiness was because I couldn't keep the wastegate flap as closed as it needed to be (including some mechanical issues). I'd still prefer it to boost up nearly as quickly as the stocker, and it certainly a bit slower than that. So maybe the GCG one is worth the first look (for you).
