M35 Cam Belt

yes, it is a chain and does not need to be replaced at the 100k service.

if you mean accessory belts, then any car parts place can sell you them. just take the belt number with you, it will be something like 5PK280 (or something similar)

when i test drove my rs four s i asked if the cam belt had been done and the reply was "some of these new nissans actually have a chain "

everyone probably already knows this but...

VQ engine = chain

RB engine = belt

the S model, being manual, is only available in australia in the C34 model, which has an RB engine, which has a belt, not a chain. Since you dont have your location on your profile, I wasn't sure if you were in australia or not...and your post was kind of open-ended...

so I made my reply a little more generic and not aimed at you...just in case anyone reading your post got the wrong idea...

hope that makes sense...

VQ engine = timing chain

didn't realise that either - whats the manual M35 model called then (ie. with 3.5L engine)? or are you saying there was no manual+AWD version?

The only M35 that cam in manual was the Autech Axis 350 S (my avatar). It was RWD with a 6-speed 'box.

You are correct that there were NO manual AWD M35's from factory.
