Not sure where my introduction thread went, but here goes.

Brand new Volk Racing TE37, 19x10.5, +12, Bronze. Still needs center caps and maybe some blue wheel nuts to match the valve stems.

Couldn't call myself a real Volks fan without a set of TE37s. Haha. This is my 3rd set of Volks, and these TE's are friggin' awesome. They're bloody light, too. You can feel the difference through corners.

I'm sure many people prefer the GTCs, but it was just too much bling for me. It was pretty funny when the guy at the shop asked me how much these 'chromies' cost me. Hadn't been there before, but they were cool and took care when removing/remounting tyres.

Yes, i know TE37s have been done to death blah blah.. This is true, but it works so damn well with the R34 GTR. They were for sale (seller didn't even get to see them) and i jumped on it.

Much happier with these puppies. They'll do, for now. :) I'm sure i'll have to try another set of wheels next year.

Time to fulfill my dream and get some massive brakes under there. Then it's onto genuine Z-tune kit and retune for cams/hi-flow cat. Well, that's the plan..

Wow. They are awesome mate, they definitly give the car a more improved street look. I have been umming and arring also about TE's as well because as you said they have been done to death. Still they have no trouble standing out when matched properly to a car. Im going to get exactly the same dimensions for my 33GTR in the next month or so (Give or take with the offset, gotta look it up). Can I ask who arranged them for you? PM if you feel the need.

Cheers.

My Fashion Statement reads...

Monday > TE37 in bronze like yours

Tuesday > LENSO D1R in black

Wednesday > ADVAN RG Series 1 in gold - yep, it's Wednesday now and they're ON!

Thursday > GTC gold face/silver dish

Friday > RE30 in titanium face/silver dish

Saturday > Decisions, decisions... what will I wear tonight? lol

Can I borrow your RE30's, please Terry (on a permanent basis)?

I'll have to swipe them back off God_speed hehe

Don't know about you, but I actually like thin spokes to show off more of the rotors/calipers.

And thin spokes to me, seem to signify strength through art compared to strength through chunkiness

    • Today, I'm a Breville BES920 tech, new triac board and new 3x way solenoid. Had overheating issues, home RCD tripping when it got warm, and the boiler stayed on when the machine was shut off. Also, usually 3x way solenoid chatter, this is the 3rd time I'm replacing it. Mind you, this machine is 9 year old and send it every day doing at minimum 3x double shots. When the in laws come over to took after my daughter, it will easily see 6x double shots in a single day. Tried to be somewhat compliant, crimped and then used a screw connector over the top. Would have preferred to use heat shrinks.   After all that, turns out all the overheating has damaged the o-rings to the steam tap as well. Ordered new ones, coming soon.
    • Still got it- First time checking sau in a while ahhaha
    • I don't know about that. I can hoon my R32 around - hard launches, high lateral Gs - with <<1/4 tank without any such shenanigans. This with the previous 040 and the current GSS342. I would suspect a fuel line problem. One of the hoses associated with the top of the tank perhaps.
    • This is amazing. Love that you’re giving the boys an intro to cars and off the screens. They probably have an insta for the car and build posts on TikTok for their mates.
    • It is.  Your car works fine with the tank full. If you drive like a Nana it works fine.  You give it a boot full with half a fuel tank, you get surge.  It 100% is a fuel surge issue. Maybe have a look at installing a Hydramat if you don't want to install a surge tank.  https://www.holley.com/products/fuel_systems/hydramat/
