donut_kng
Sorry for what may be an obvious question but what is on the cards for the day? Is it training or do you get your time to cut sick on a skid pan? eugen_syd
Hey people, I intended to register for thsi event but htere are some hidden costs. We have to pay $110 as non members of Dift Club ($80.00 reffering to those in drift club) also $50.00 for the CAMS licence on the day?????? So from $160 to $200 is just a small step for a GP circuit. I let you decide which one is better. Eug. dori34
of course cams licence is needed same as going out on the track. Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/292885-october-31st-oran-park-skid-pan-day/#findComment-4911657 Share on other sites
MBS206
of course cams licence is neededsame as going out on the track. Normal track/driver training days just require a drivers licence. Take Aaron Mcgills day... $200, no more hidden costs, and a lunch thrown in... And the amount of track time you get is insane! dori34
pretty sure that $200 includes a daily licence of some sort. they most likely forgot to add that a cams licence is needed so dont get the wrong impression that there are hidden costs. project D put on a bbq also & there was HEAPS of track time. Bozman1
Try not to compare track vs skidpan days crew....they are very different. As I run alot of days myself, it costs a fortune to do. You do not need CAMS for driver training days. Project D run a great day and is heaps of fun for those who like doing big skids Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/292885-october-31st-oran-park-skid-pan-day/#findComment-4945709 Share on other sites
BezerkR32
boz, everyone is going to compare $ vs track time...same with drag racing. $200 to enter. 6, 10sec passes = 1min of racing. thats $3.30 a second. people just want track time.
