I assume that you want to drive it and not have the owner drive it.

If so what are the details of the driver....eg age etc.

My best friend is going to drive it (Groom) 27 years old I'm 29 years old.

He currently drive a modded 200sx.

I will escort them with my 180sx (First to have a genuine wide Ridge vertex body kit in aus) and every bolt on parts are Japanese brand no short cut here.

These are My previous car,

First car suzuki swift Gti, Crx delsol one of the fastest turbo charge FWD at that time (PRO CRX), 180sx which I still have after 5 years, 200sx which has been stolen 2 years ago (plan was to build it along with the 180sx same kit wheels etc.)

My point is we are not new to the car scene.

We know and do respect people's pride and joy.

I don't even care if the GTR owner escort us as well.

Their must be places that hire super cars.....and some should have an R35 for Hire.......but I reckon they would insist on your Credit Card

and a solid gold one at that.

I'll have a quick look on the net for you....as I have been approached by some Super Car club not that long ago.....or was I dreaming.... :(

Why does your friend need to drive it? Is it not enough that he's getting married to (hopefully) the girl of his dreams on the day? You'll more likely have success IMO with the total strangers if the only drives whilst you and your friend are passengers. People are usually chauffered to a wedding anyway.

Being old or new to the car scene makes no difference to your credibility or assumptions on how you are going to treat the car IMO...I see the logic you're trying to get at with it but I don't agree with it. If anything the fact that you've had some super fast cars means you're into speed and the presence of the R35 isn't just for aesthetics even if that's all you're really after...

I didn't get my license yesterday and owning fast cars does not mean I am reckless driver (I have not done a burn out since I had a license :( , I have done a lot of work on my cars and I know how to respect it).

My friend and I, just like most of you here are passionate about imports.

Wedding is a special day for most of us... we would like this Special car (GTR) to have a part/ moment to be remembered.

So for those people that don't have any useful post please.................................. please.............................. don't waste your energy with those keyboard.

Hi All,

I would like to hire a white GTR for my friend's wedding on January 2010.

The car will only be driven after the ceremony from the hall (sylvania) to the city for photo shoot. less than 3 hours of use 100kms travel.

Please PM my self for further discussion.

Thanks

I believe theres a place on the goldy that hires them out!

Even if you get one, the bonnet afterwards will need to be repolished, since the ribbons abrade the surface > swirls & shading as they did on mine; and the contour of the R35 bonnet will be no better in this department than my R34.

    • ok so if i wanted to go 18's i would go for 8's  in front 30+ or 32+ off set at front and the back 9 would be ok? what offset should i aim for.. then can i do some  hunting for wheel rim choices..    If i get this - will this fit all around: Size: 18 x 8.5 +37 - n what tyres size tyre should i get for front n back?
    • Absolute f*cking nightmare. I had to take breaks constantly, and I was always pissed off when I got home. The line split in Italy on day 2 (we drove from the Netherlands), lol. Driving any narrow European town was... well, sh*t.   Appreciate it man. Here, I'll just drop a favourite from the load I took on Saturday.   I'll update here when things happen with the car, the thing is, with stock power and almost everything chassis-wise taken care of, there really are no problems. 268,000kms now and counting.
    • Ah! I actually managed to snag a lightly used set.... that aren't so suitable for me right now. They don't work on a GTT without some cutting or creative heat moulding. I thought about reselling them myself cause I didn't want to murder them, but it looks like I'm probably going to attempt to murder them/melt them because I may as well. @GTSBoy @PranK can somebody close this thread?
    • Hey mate,  I have a set, one is slightly damaged but wont be noticable once installed.  Shoot me a message if your still after them
    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
