Thanks you staff for organising this. Drivers' briefing is one of the best I've heard.

The trip back to Windsor was a hoot.

2 cars became 3

3 cars became 5

5 cars became 7

And I don't mind saying that 2 of the drivers with 110years+ between them, kept the convoy 'up to speed' eh Humbla?

We even wriggled around a smash. Was that a wedding car?

There were sooooo many gorgeous cars there too

Tai's R32 must be entered in the SnS

Che's R34 - well what can I say but for the fact that he wouldn't let me eat off it

Dave's R34 in red - what a colour?

Midnight purple R33 - one of the best colours ever made too!

All the great ppl there that made me welcome again & can now put faces to names but the personalities count even more!

Yeh Terry I think the wedding car was involved.

Well mate with 110+ yrs behind you both you sure did set the standard for most of the way home :D

6.3 Gig of vids and pics to sort through, plus the dvd footage from terrys place...

including the special event.. Aggro chases down Terry :P

Will post up later tonight, first things first.. food and shower!!

Nice to meet all of you and to put faces to names for the others I didnt get a chance to meet.. I think I still won for loudest exhaust :)

It still sucks that I fail on the uphill parts. Must get turbo.. screw P plates

Hahaha,

I saw you all in the distance on the horizon and said to Alex, We have to run home with them! I didnt think I was gonna catch you for a while there especially after you guys overtook the caravan and I ran out of room.

The drive home was awesome people, I had a ball.

Nice to meet you Dave (and after being behind you for a while on the way home yes your exhaust is LOUD) and Terry your 34 is stunning

Thanks also Nick for inviting Alex and myself to the spare seats at your table

Here is a couple of pics but they are a bit crappy.....Except of course the one of my 33, hehe

The Putty Road cruise was a lot of fun as usual - a good chance to catch up with some old friends and to make some new ones.

The trip home was one for the old brigade indeed with me also adding to the numbers to bring it into the 165+ years for the three of us. We also started out by ourselves and then became part of your growing pack.

Clinton and I had a great lunch with good conversation thanks to Terry GT-R34, Humbla, R 2 THE J and Pezhead to name a few.

Thanks again to all for a great day.

Cant wait to see the Pics, had a freakin awesome day, the 32 got a good workout!, and must remember next time to wear sunscreen...

165+ ???

Imagine Charles, being pulled over by the policeman who then says,

"I've pulled over antique cars with racy drivers in my time; but I've never pulled over racy cars with antique drivers before!"

Great conversation at our table with yourselves, Eric, Rudy, Joe, Janelle & Jetta

And elsewhere with David aka Aggroman, Andrew, Aron, Che, Linton & Tai + at the start with Dave, NYTSKY, Jezza, David aka FloydWestwood, Matt aka MBS206

Regards, Terry

Did anyone else get a mad drivers arm?

Great cruise.

Bloody hot, got a mad truckies arm lol

Just made it to Rozelle servo, 475km trip and used 80L  Wouldnt mind a V8 Supercar style drop tank.

Then filled up again and have just got home from another cruise, a total of 13 or so hrs in the car, a new record.

Duncan,

the missus loved the March, now she wants one lol

Here ya go, the fun everyone missed on the way home haha.. only decent vid that I can be bothered uploading at 1am lol..

Ignore the stupid chatter between Andy and I.. except the part where I heel toe down 2 gears.. im still proud I did it properly without jabbing the brake in harder

Vid ends when we start to catch the other cars that left earlier.

    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
