If you're in CBD, there's a japanese restaurant in Melbourne Central on L2 or L3 where the cinemas are.

to be honest, they're nothing special, just the experience looking at sushi being hauled on toytrains is kind of different,

but after a while it's just sushi.

i dont wanna be a dick  but man... the best sushi i've ever had was in Japan. Osaka, to be precise. and so damn cheap. i cant emphasize how much better and fresher it tastes than anything ive had in aus.

did i mention dirt cheap? like a couple of bucks a pop!

^^^^^^^^^^^ AGREED

The Maguro here can't compete to the JDM stuff.

I found 2 good ones in Tokyo, one just next to the Fish market, and another in Shibuya. :D

There used to a sushi train at Port Melb, but that closed down. There is one in the city just near the boost juice on the corners of Swanson and Bourke

Suprisingly the best one i've had so far wasn't Osaka but in a small street in LA instead, runs by an old Japanese couple. I had live prawn straight out of the tank, the body went to my sushi, the head went into my Miso soup, also there were this weird shell fish but damn it tasted real good, i'm yet to see this shellfish anywhere else.

    • Ha ha ha, that's fair mate! We have the crackhead dogs now. Mainly because the missus wants the crazy dogs while she still has the energy and capacity to be able to keep up with them! Ha ha our current two are both Working GSD, there brothers and sisters (from the same litters) are in Police, Corrective Services, and I believe one did end up in defence force too. They're wild and fun, yet right now, both curled up asleep on the lounge room floor while we watch some TV. Mal is very likely the next dog (unless I get my couch potato guardian dog 😛 )   What are your Kitties names? Are you planning some house work, like those high kitty shelves, built in scratching post, and some cat passages from one room to another room?
    • Maine Coone, did look at but to big and fluffy As for performance dogs, we had Mals at work, performance dogs are fun to watch, but, way to much work for this old rooster
    • Yep, it was only an option on the Q50 Hybrid.  Same in Japan as far as I know. And doesn't use a centre diff like the Suby's do, so not the same as the WRX.  But it also isn't a reactive AWD like other Nissan AWD vehicles are, eg. Murano/Xtrail/etc.
    • You should have got a Maine Coone then. Only thing is they're big. But so cool, and just like a dog. Or, just get yourself a high performance dog. That'll teach you for wanting Parkour indoors 😛
    • Are you thinking of Bens R32? I don't remember if his went through the bonnet itself, but it went through the chassis rail. Brad (RISKIN) bought it, and turned it into a track car. It's funny how anti people are of Jim Berry now. I remember when I pulled mine out (during an engine change) and inspected it and found it cracking badly. At that point in time so many people were even on SAU, were so pro Jim Berry, and that was after Bens GTR exploded his quite publically.
