my girlfriend was in japan for a business trip and she said she lost count of the number of R35s she saw on the road, mostly done up with kits and stuffs.... and mostly in black. She ALSO commented that the car looks really much more awesome than on pictures which i shown her before from the internet. The car is slightly higher and shorter than a R32 but nevertheless, its still a skyline and draws plenty of attentions down the road.

wonder how long it will take before we start seeing more of these cars on our own roads....

I've got a pic somewhere of one I saw in Hawaii...they didn't really interest me though.

They cost the same as a 350Z over there....exactly the same equipment found on both too...just depends what shape you want. Sorry but the 350Z wins in that instance.

hehe.. is it just me or does the maxima looking remarkably similar from a few angles to the V35 ?

Same engine too.. stick one of the 350Z turbo kits on it...lol

They'd be heavy though, 350Z with a turbo bolt on kit would be much better IMHO.

Don't like it much. I reckon the current irra of hot turbo cars from Nissan has ended for a while, if not forever. Get a good current model and savour it. I've been reading that the next GTR may not even make it into production. The same happened with the last series GTR, the entire eighties almost went without until 1989. We may be in for another hypo car drought. I'm not saying the 350Z isn't a cool kick arse car, but I love the sound of turbo's winding up on boost !

    • The fancy pants red shock tower brace is finally incoming from MX5 Mania, getting it shipped from 'Merica has been a long and problematic process, and GWR, the 'Merican supplier will not ship directly to consumers outside of the US, Mania basically had to order a heap of them, the colour choice was silver, or red, and we all know anything red adds 5 killerwasps of dynotorques..... Whilst it does fit over a 2.5, and I've seen a few photos and videos of it being installed and fitting, google also says it might get real close to the FAB9 intake front runner, people in the US says it does fit with the FAB9 intake, except for one person who said it slightly touched.......so there is that.....LOL..... As it seems that I am the first in AU to have this combination of parts there's no local knowledge about fitment, so I'm just a willing guinea pig in this endeavour, I'll cross my fingers and toes and hope for the best In other news, I ordered stuff from China  on the same day I ordered the 23° silicone bend from Victoria, the stuff from China arrived a day ago, the 23° silicone bend is still travelling around Australia thanks to Australia Post, and "may" be here next week
    • Very good news...I contacted Racebox about it last night. My car is a 2016 so remains to be seen if it is compatible, requires a TCU swap, or is impossible.
    • What ECU are you running? This is probably the biggest question. If it's a PowerFC, I'd probably change the ECU and get something newer that will handle the injectors in a nicer way.
