Haha Eugene don't you have enough cars already? ;)

Tell me about it! Just got rid of the Evo so im on the lookout for a nice clean R32. I've always wanted one since being a passenger in an Aus delivered R in the early 90's. It's been my dream for a while and now it will go nicely with the R34 as well.. hehe

Will these bolt straight in? and with a good size thermo fan, will it clear everything in a factory engine bay ?

Also waiting for a price on the thermo fan to suit.

Would this be over kill for a predominantly street driven car with approx 350 AWKW ?

Thanks

Tim.

um yes

and probabaly not 350rwkw would probabbly get toasty on a 40 degree day liek today

if your ripping skidz the this is the shit!

pete

update for other parts

option parts

Greddy thermostat adapter to suit GTS-T or GTR without hicas $150

normal sandwich block and no thermostat then Mocal $40,

Spal 16 inch thermo fan curved blade 2600cfm ?$220 and higher flow motorsport version 3000cfm $390

Nylon black quality braid dash 12 $70 pm and Speedflow fittings $285

fats with this set up do you have to mod anything in the r32 gtr? im still wanting to run the clutch fan is that still possible????

the stock fan would be very close ( i doubt it will fit, though)

thermo all the way!!

stock shroud ... im sure you can put it on but it would be pushed back a fair bit

and would look silly

Are these available for R34 GTR? I am keen, havent read the whole thread so sorry if its been mentioned.

Edit - Managed to read the title of the thread, i now know its for R32! But if anyone could tell me if these are available for R34 GTR id love to know, thanks.

+1

Also wanna know if this will fit an R34 GTR???

The R34's have a calsonic radiator from factory, are these any good?

Am I better off just getting an oil cooler? Damn good price for both radiator and oil cooler!!!

well there ya go

it appears that with some creatyive cutting the stock fan and shroud will fit

you can get them for r33 and r34.. however they are around teh 1200 mark one off

happy to do a group buy once the 332 one is complete

How long do we have to get into this GB. How many spots are left?

Also what kind of oil temps can we expect with this? Should you also run an external air to air exchanger or is this one good enough? My car gets a lot of use as a track car and I don't want to worry about oil temps or water temps.

Take a look at the thickness of the core and you'll get your answer. The first mods I ever did to the r34 was a big ass radiator and a fat oil cooler. I also got an air breather tank to remove the air bubbles in the head.

    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
