R33 Skyline Number 9 On Top 10 Greatest Ever Sports Cars

The ONLY reason a R33 Gts-t is any good is the strong gearbox and some may argue the RB25, although the RB20's are better bang for buck and bang for capacity!!!

The rest of the car is worse than a R32...

The R33 is an evolved R32. They moved the tank back to give a better weight distribution, and made it very slightly longer.

The R34 is the 'playstation generations' Skyline w/ traction control etc.

I like the look of the R34, but the R32 looks a bit dated now and not in a 'timeless' way. The 33 shape is probably a bit more of a 'neutral' design so it has not dated like the 32. I wouldn't say with the 33 vs 34 shape one is better than the other.

haha that's not nice :P If you're using your car to try and attract chicks, you're doing it wrong :(

Besides, I'm married heh.

That shouldn't stop ya from picking up some school kids :action-smiley-069:

This just shows what American's know

They think Veyron's are Lambo's because Akon has one in his video clip.

I bet they put a Mustang or a Corvette as #1, pfft. It will be just like watching 20 to 1..

Lol i think all the GTR's are good looking cars, even the 33's look quite good. Still prefer the 32 though, 33s are too round and boat like.

And let us not forget that the 34 GTR is one of the greatest cars ever made, king of the Skylines :D

Lol this thread was always going to end up like this huh

Should have been 32 imo. 31 to 32 was the best design upgrade ever? AMIRITE?

Yep 32 GTR before anything else

LOL 33 gts-t isnt a sports car , its for guys who like to drive around with other guys :D

6 months ago you claimed the R31 was the best ever.

Now the R32 GTR is the best ever to you.

I reckon soon the R34 will be the best ever eh? ;)

Stop fighting it Bart! Become one of the 'cool kids'....stop pissing about with the toy skylines and get a 33

I watched the programme last night. it was some funny shit.

They were showing pics of a 33 gtst and calling it a gtr. Kept crapping on about how good it was to drift because of the awd then stated that it only made n0. 9 because all it was good for was drifting.

I said 31 is better then 33 gts-t , and yes 34 will be better then the 33 gts-t but 32 GTR is king

    • I couldn't wait But, the black constant tension hose clamps were too thick and there wasn't enough clearance at the T/B and I couldn't get it to seat properly, so I had use a silver one there I also added some 3" silicone over the alloy bit that goes through to hole on the radiator support as it looked like it was sitting on the edge of the hole in the radiator support, I never noticed a rattle or anything, but there was a witness mark It is basicly done, and I can live with the silver hose clamp at the T/B, I will get a black clamp for the head vent though where it is attached to the bulkhead fitting  It never stops...LOL, only issue now with the shock tower brace is it slightly touches the under bonnet liner now, if I leave it it will either wear some paint off the brace where it touches, or damage the liner, so I removed the liner to see what I have to work with, with the liner removed I have about 20mm of clearance, but sadly the middle part of the underside of the bonnet is only dusted with paint and looks crap, so I cannot have that, but.... as I have a roll of Carbuilders premium under bonnet insulation in the garage laying around that is only 5.5mm thick (we were going to use it on the boys Patrol, but he crashed the front of it a few months and it was written off, hence why he now drives my old Honda Accord Euro), I'll use the OEM liner as a template and get the Carbuilders stuff fitted up to cover that dusted paint up
    • You have a knack for photography my friend. It makes the 86 look like a complete bucket. The 34 went with you to Europe and back. It's special. (we all feel the same about our 'shitboxes' that every bystander seems to absolutely love)
    • It's been quite the ordeal but hey, at least you figured it out.
    • The final part arrived today to un-clampify and simplify the intake Who would have though a 1/2" hose stainless bulkhead fitting designed for below waterline bilge pumps would be what I needed Test fit on a 3" offcut I had laying around to see if it would work, and it worked a treat All going well the intake will be on its "final version" tomorrow
