I believe I spoke to the owner with a few others, he didn't sound like he got to drive it often enough but I didn't think he was planning to sell it :D

You should see his dyno sheet / engine bay, incredibly nice.

cheers.

This was my first event with the club , and i loved it.

Weather helded back long enough , but it was a little sad

that more Skylines didn't show up.

A big thanks to all the organizers.

Heres a link to my photos of the event.

P.S.

I hope this works I'm still new to posting.

Thanks to the organisers, the event was a great success!

It was great putting faces to familiar names on the forum. There is no better way to spend a Saturday afternoon amongst cars and having a good old yarn with fellow enthusiasts.

Some noteworthy observations:

The offset of those VS Work rims on the S14 is absolutely mental and insane - you gotta to love that totally 'slammed' look

The Cortina got the most attention from the general public - especially the 'older' demographics. GO CORTINA!

The multicoloured Titan lip Gram lights 57S-PRO on the R32 GTR was most eye catching

The dramatic arrival of the R32 on Jacks' flatbed truck - I wondered what happened?

The only real contest was the voting for the best R33 GTR

The general respect and admiration that everyone showed towards each other's pride and joy.

thanks to all who came and made it a day!

Matt - (32) Love the wheels (now) it just took me a little bit to get used to at the start, but as always your car looked great!

Matt - (34) Man your car rocks!

Tim and Campbell... well well well..... you guys make the day funny as always!

Yet another awesome SnS. Really had a great time and the location was truely unbeatable!!

Thanks to all who organised the event and to everyone that took the time to polish up their pride and joys and entered.

Those pics are tops, thanks!!

PS: Birds WTF happened!!!

All that talk about you magical wax, etc and you didn't even show!!

You missed out big time buddy :D

GREAT Pics everyone.

There were heaps of camera's floating around and once again, not one bad pic among them!

We will 110% be going back to that venue next year. I will organise more space as well now i have a rough idea of requirements vs car numbers/space.

Should be even bigger next year ;)

hopefully the council can be a bit more lenient on entry/exit times

It's not the council, its just common sense more than anything else. Its a public liability/protection issue.

We can't have cars coming/going in/out all day long.

1. It would be impossible to position cars

2. It would mean someone 'manning' the gate for the whole 6 hrs (boring/unfair to expect)

3. Given there must have been easily 500-700+ people of the public passing through there over the 6hrs... too much chance of something occuring

etc etc.

Look at the end of the day if people can't motivate themselves enough to get up by 8:30am on a weekend, and plan their life for 6 hours for a major club event with trophies/awards, that is their problem.

Just means more exposure chance of taking home a trophy for those people who can motivate themselves, and good on them :D

The general respect and admiration that everyone showed towards each other's pride and joy.

Couldn't agree more mate, well said.

sounds like a really good day and turnout. wish i could of made it down to atleast have a look, instead i was stuck inside at work :).

Hopefully next year i have something better then the silvia to enter :)

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
