So I read this blog called Hellaflush that loves cars whose wheels are absolutely flush without a gnats whisker between rim or tire and guard. Lots of pictures.

Anyway just wondering.. a newb question. How does that even work? Must they have rock hard zero travel suspension or do the wheels camber up enough to just slide past the guards, or they only drive on glass smooth roads and never do 3 point turns faster than 1 mph .. or what?

hard ass coilovers...

i run rims outside the guards, low as on 8/6 greddy's and have near flat camber on the rears and you cant fit a finger between my tyres and guards.

i never scrub and my car sees track, street, hills etc...

with harder coils i could go closer... but meh

I have relativley soft coilovers on my 34 and they dont scrub on the guards at all, and there is very little room between the guard and tyre.

The only time's the front rubs is if im going up a kerb on full lock, but only minor. I have a 235 on a 9.5" rim though.

Fitment makes a car look wider and tougher, who care's about the handling lol
