Hello

I buyed a cast rb25 manifold today, And I want to know a little bit more about it. How big turbo can I use with it in my r33 spec 2 ?

How big hole is it for the wastegate ? I ask because it has not arrived yet.

Simon

post a picture up so we know what it looks like,

Invest some money into some kind of adapter plate on the wastegate side or you will be stuck running a pricey HKS wastegate. As for the T3 flange it really depends on the turbo housing as it stays in the low mount position you really dont have alot of room down there for a large turbo.

Hello yes it´s the one in the pictures.

Strong it´s already is a hks wastegate mounted on it :stupid:

I want to use a gt3076r or something like that do you guys think it would fit or is it to big ? Would not be so fun to buy the turbo and see that it wount fit =/

A GT30 should fit but dont hold me to it, I just have experience as a friend ran one of these before going to a topmount setup. Worst case is you may need a spacer as in the skyline there is alot more room then our LHD S13. Best bet is to search around in the Dyno results and see if anyone is runnning a similar setup and maybe send them a message for for more info. Congrats on the Balla wastegate

Well measure it up?

The turbo spec charts (from any supplier) give you exact dimensions

A GT3076 will fit, will probably need to machine the engine mount a little.

I'm running one and it fits no problem, just have to shave the front engine mount back a bit, nothing that a 4" angle grinder and flapper disc can't handle.

I have the HKS cast low mount manifold, 100mm port shrouded Garret GT3076r with HKS external gate and it fits and works well.

Moar about your car! Power numbers?

Its in the dyno thread somewhere, I've added WMI since then as well. Otherwise its nothing special [except to me], heaps of other guys on here with way better setups making much more power with clean engine bays, smick paint and bling etc.

Your youre biggest critic I like the car blacked out. Just was curious of the numbers.

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
