Hey everyone,

i will post this aswell in the East Bear Kit Topic but just seeing who is actually interested in buying the GTS-R Body kit made by East Bear Sports.

i have been talking to them latetly and pretty much the one thig that will be the major cost is shipping but essentially if we have for eg the purchase of two kits it cost the same amount to ship/fly

i have asked them about dropping the price on the kit but the will not give a discount on multiple kits but will give discounts on extras that anyone might want such as the GTS-R badges, Tail Lights, Rear Diffuser and Fender Cover.

Currently the Yen is floating around the 80-82 dollar mark.

the following are the prices in YEN and AUD also some pretty pics for people to look at of the parts though im sure u already know what everything looks like.

The Full Kit shown below Includes

  • Front Bumper
  • Front Lip (type 1)
  • Side Skirts
  • Rear Bumper
  • Under Spoiler (front and side)
  • Carbon Vented Hood

The total cost for this is 338100 Yen which with the current Exchange rate is $4124

If you dont want the Carbon Hood or a Vented Hood It will be Cheaper and if you dont want the under spoiler it will be cheaper

Next up is the actual GTS-R emblem

I'm actually in the market for this same kit so if you go ahead with it I'm down :)

However i have a 4 door 25GT-T....

Hey thats not a problem they make everything in 4 door though it is slightly more expensive.

for example the full body kit costs about $153 AUD more and from what i can tell thats the only extra cost but i will shoot through an email and find out for you

Dan

do we have to buy the full kit to be in on this?

or can i say buy the side skirts and fender covers only?

Yeah i dont think that should be a problem at least with the fender covers though i will have to find out about the side skirts because as far as i know you can only get the side skirts and rear bumper together and i know it seems stupid.

i will get back to you on that one

Dan

how much is it for rear bar and side skirts only?

might be interested.

im also assuming the front bar wont work with standard bonnet?

Yes you are correct in that the front bar wont work with a standard bonnet and the side and rear will cost you 149000 Yen which with todays exchange is about $1800

hi ,

im interested in a vented bonnet & front bar for GTT.

can you post a pic of the bonnet pls ?

also, how much would it be ?

hey the carbon vented and the FRP vented are 94500 and 58800 respectivly which works out to be $1152 and $717

Hi Mate,

Im interested in the East Bear Aero Form front spoiler for the GTT.

Is it possible to chuck that in with your order? If possible what sort of prices would I be looking at?

Cheers

Hey yeah that wouldnt be a problem. the front lip is only a straight fit for the east bear front bumper but there are fitting availible to make it fit the stock R34 GT-T front bumper. at the moment the price for the Lip is about $400 but i will have to get back to you on whether the fitting costs any extra.

Dan

yea i wouldn't mind just the front bumper and bonnet

Hey mate are you currently based in NZ or do u live in Aus? as if your in NZ you would be up for extra shipping cost

I actually was hoping to be able to fit it to my aero front bar (not stock)

Any ideas if that would be possible?

Im still interested if it will all work.

    • Hope you aren't too sore after that one, might take a day or 2 to notice yet and I guess it is a loooooong drive home. On the bright side, tube frame front end is a thing at superlap, right?

    • The chart of front pressure to rear pressure (with one being on the x axis and the other being on the y axis) is not a straight line on a typical proportioning valve. At lower pressures there is a straight line with one slope, and at higher pressures that changes to a lower slope. That creates a bend in the line at that pressure, called the knee point. If you do not change the proportionng as the pressure gets higher, you will suffer excessive pressure (at one end of the car or the other, depending on which way you look at the proportioning action) and then get lockups at that end. The HFM BM57, from my memory of previous discussions, is based on the BM57 from a different car (to a Skyline), with a different requirement for the location of the knee point and the distribution of pressure front to rear, and so is not a good choice for an upgrade on a Skyline. Here's a couple of links to some old posts, one from here, one from elsewhere. A lot of it pertains to adjustable prop valves, but the idea is the same. There are plenty of discussions on here about this issue from al the many years of people wanting a cheap/accessible option. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/ https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/grm/learn-me-brake-proportioning-valves/236880/page1/
    • Yeah dunno why johhny posted that here with no context, just post on FB/insta bro where he put it up?  Laine had an off at T4 during Thurs prac, he's ok, car is less than perfect, they are done for the weekend, he can fill in the rest. Bando also binned it like 100m up the road.
