Always amusing when a grown man gets angry over a simple question :P

im not angry bout it at all, ive read heaps of other bov posts and knew that u would come n write the same thing u do in every other persons thread. instead of doin that, stick to the question asked and we can avoid all these uneeded posts. Just coz u have 28000 posts dosnt mean your the ducks nuts of skylines just means you have to much spare time to come and post useless posts

so if we can now please get back to what i originally posted on just confirming whether or not i need to do anything with the spare threaded hole

I asked nothing more than a simple question... to which the response was nothing short of rude and abrupt.

Probably still a bit jaded "coz sumone" has had their threads locked constantly and is a bit angry with responses over the years...

I guess it happens though, some people just cant accept things as well as others! Never to worry.

Lol so true he did the same thing on my thread asking about a Tial Q bov of which i never got as i bought a turboback exhaust instead. of which im not complaining.

However this leaves me with still wanting a decent bov.

Do you thing this would be ok to use on my 33 gtst? running HKS pod, 3" turboback exhaust, r32 actuator running 12pound?

getting front mount with new front facing plenum too so want a new bov for new piping anyway. ( after i fix my car that is )

srry to ask it in ur thread lol, keen on vids when you can mate an yeh hope you get that 600hp!! thats farkn awsome even if your close to it :ninja:

Of which you were very appreciative - you thanked me for the information I provided as you had been given incorrect information

You have too much time on your hands mate, seems like you need a lay.

oh and i took your 'advice' and dodsons told me a good greddy or similar would be the way to go an thers no point in going back to and modifying a factory valve.

but besides that i ddnt want to be rude as i dnt have talot of experience and it really seemd like you knew what you were talking about.

But your rubbing off as a bit of a dick tbh, nobody wants to hear your anti bov shit

if you dnt like it thats your choice keep it to yourself.

can you define "OK" please ? ok in what way . loud? work fine ? protect your turbo? pull bitches ?

it will be louder and have more surge nioses with out it but will flow more with it connected to pressure only

i just mean work in general as the greddy website says its for applications over 450hp an im def not pushing that.

ok i installed it this afternoon n evrything works fine wif it not connected 2 anything. As 4 surge, not realy a problem wif a t88, so yeh evrything is good. It dosnt go off evry time u get off the throttle either, only wen u give it sum

As 4 nismoid, the question u askd had nuffin 2 do wif my original post wot so ever

there are two type R's std and hard, just make sure you dont buy the hard if your running a small setup.

Did you fail badly in spelling or you're just lazy?

You type the same way a 14 year old sends her best friend sms messages.

    • I might be way off the mark here.. there must be a T junction under the manifold. That takes manifold pressure through a check valve prior to the T, one side splits out to this bleed off orifice, the other straight to the wastegate actuators.
    • Carrying out some engine due diligence before my first drive in a 260RS that has been in storage for 10+ years, and found two lines that are susposed to be plumbed into the boost control solenoid. One of the lines (the wastegate boost supply line) to actuate the gates, had a bolt in one end blocking it. The other line (main boost signal line) from the very rear of the intake manifold (RB26DETT) and runs up to the boost controller had this pill in the end of it as seen in photos. Other than the obvious (T28 Ceramic turbos might well be cooked)  Can anyone shed any light on if there is any validity at all with this mod, bleeding a constant fixed rate of manifold boost pressure off through this 3mm hole?  Is it deliberate?  Was this a 90s Jap mod done to RB26's? Or has someone just fitted this without any idea of what happens to ceramic T28s if they are not gate controlled?
    • This looks great! Awesome to have the 5 speed with an LSD in this. The Recaro's look like SR2's or SR3's. It's a shame they've been retrimmed as they would have looked sweet in their original colours. I think I'd want my agent to be a little more up front and informative too. I've never imported but I reckon it would make me a little nervous, so the more info the better.
    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
