I'll let you know if my mate gets back to me. Apparently it needs a bit of work to get RWC. If I find out any details I'll PM you.

Sounds like something I will probably end up fixing and probably not let my brother touch haha

Let us know what needs to be fixed.

Cheers

my mate jonny (ex autobarn moorabbin) has just opened up his own shop... i'll get the details for ya :D

he has done a bunch of autosalon winning installs

sounds good. its not that new one i noticed on warrigal road is it? Tower Audio or something?

dezz I'll seriously punch you in the testes if you don't buy a black V35 with leather interior. rare as. especially if you're gonna throw 30 grand at it.

your budget should be about 25 for a stocker, esp one that's common as fuck.

Had a quick look on carsales last night...seems to be a shit load of dreamers selling (read: trying) V35's for $35k, bone stock.

Would definitely want black or red, white as a last resort (black wheels and some carbon on white will have it looking the business) and not the gay cream interior. Manual obviously.

Sus it out on J-spec for me, see whats around

i made the right choice

evo = win :D

GT-R qualified fastest out of the pack...Start it on the front row with the Evo and it might not be the same result..

Love the translations

but still good to see its just as fast

lol yeh bloody yanks :D

today's pc are so much easier

the old days of messing up the pci cards and every device using the same IRQ

I miss manually assigning IRQ and DMA addresses.

SUP bitches!

anyone know a good car audio installer?

i have a Pioneer AVIC-HD3 with Bluetooth Adaptor, Reverse Camera and iPod Adaptor, a Pioneer PRS-D4200F Amp, 2 sets of TSD1602's and a 19" Flip Down LCD i need installed into an E50 Nissan Elgrand Rider.

I also need a good alarm and immobiliser installed at the same time.

Preferably in the Dandy region.

Go to PAC (phat audio concepts) in braeside. They do awesome work there. Currently building a maserati from scratch and also doing an alarm/gps install on a lambo gallardo.

I just want some audio gear installed... not a show car :)

although on their website it looks like they are also around the corner from my work on Kilpa Road... must have an install shop and sales shop.

will check them out when the car... bus... whatever the f*k its referred to as, gets here on Thursday.

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
