Yeah, I won't be getting Meisters. I only want to spend about $3000 max on wheels + tires.

So what do you think of the overall look of that car Shan? Coz that's my inspiration for this project.

But unfortunately I won't be pulling 330rwkw like him :( Otherwise I could buy in on this "my dick is bigger than yours" contest between Kris and Hamish :ninja:

second hand meisters/professors will set you back under that...

enough rice talk.

Who here has 1x GTR injector willing to let go of?

How much would Nissan charge for 1x GTR injector? $100-$150?

farken heaps.... they quoted me $450ea for s15 ones

just puttin it out there best evo ive seen.

dont like meisters/professors on evo's... dont really know why...

had a look and there is only one black one running tuff fitment, but the way its done makes it nice

mmm i like sp1's but jsut not on an evo

needs a racey sorta wheel i reckon like te37, xd9, xt7, ce28n

+1

mmm also found some cr kai in 17x9 +17 so if the xt7s fall through have them as well

this was the wheel you always wanted for the evo wasn't it?

cr kai are shit dont do it.

you are ghey... gtfo

evo drivers in oz amuse me. they're either asians who have watched a bit too much initial D, or white boys who are WRC fans. the ironic bit is that both stereotypes are so protective of their precious cars that they won't take it hillclimbing etc and sit there stressing about a chip on the paintwork.

fuck off you sandy vagina'd poser douchebags. your car is not the fucking automotive messiah, it's a fucking lancer with a turbo and an extra LSD. you don't have fucking active yaw control so that you can better negotiate roundabouts. drive it like it was meant to be driven or give it here and walk to your fucking knitting lessons or book clubs or whatever fuck you ballbagless eunuchs seem to like doing for fun.

bahahahahaha sooooooooooooooooo accurate

+11ty

great story hansell.

thanx oolof

Harden the f**k up and get the 18x9.5 +12's

/thread +1 LOL

+1

i could go some 18x9.5 +30 xt7s would cost about $1200 plus shipping brand new

and any of the xt7 in 18x9.5 regardless of offset are deep concave, a +30 with still sit nice on car

i hate how you are a ghey

Can someone please help me to find wheels? Everywhere I look they're like $3000+ for wheels and no tires + in the wrong offset.

I need...

Front:

17"

7.5" wide

+29

Rear:

17"

8.5" wide

+29

Those figures = exactly flush.

can't decide if I want a Viper 5902 or a 5901. 5902 has 2 car support (same remote for 2 alarms) which would be good for the 32 and the golf.

altho 32 already has an older viper which doesn't work with the remote so that feature is useless :\

5901 is $100 cheaper and isn't as obnoxious (colour screen, ringtones... wtf) might go with that instead.

these are 17x8+29 and 17x9+38

the fronts will sit out by 6mm and the rears in by 3mm

or if you use a 10mm bolt on spacer sit out by 7mm

they are $1800 from j-imports.com.au

whats wrong with a tyre iron? always tryin to be all hollywood with flash gizzmo's

Thanks for that man :( They look alright. I like CE28Ns and TE37s better though.

I used a calculator and it said

Your proposed front wheel will be 6.35 mm farther out than flush (flush offset: 35.35).

Your proposed rear wheel will be 2.65 mm tucked in from flush (flush offset: 35.35).

So you were pretty spot on :ninja:

    • @Kapr Haha yeah thats the one. I missed that you had a built up engine, I wouldn't want to run it on there either then. It was good in my situation just to replace the original turbo on a stock engine. @MBS206Yep definitely not a replacement for anything name brand
    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
