i wont be able to lower my gtr too much because i have several speed bumps down my street

but if anyone says that my car is sitting to high, ill just say shutup, i have a gtr and you dont lol. that should work :D

LMAOOO get a skyline and then try make a comment hahaha

Exhaust scrapping everywhere, Tyres scrapping in the inner wheel arch and guards for flushness and lowness would qualify my car as being low.... Just ask Alex... He's cars a 4wd next to mine lollll

ease up geeeeeeeeez.. no chance tractor dont make me talk about offsets :D

If they want decent resale value, then yes... Yes they do

that aside, regardless of ur personal opinion of gtrs, they're still an icon. Kids grow up lusting after it and staring at it. Not that they don't at other skylines but it has a rep that's hard to shake. My bf's gtst makes 280rwkw and is bright orange. And it gets a lot of attention. But my stocker 190awkw gtr gets just as much awe as his does depending on the audience. First question when people see it... 'is that a REAL gtr??'

And his car as a 34 is still 40-50k 10 odd years on.

Case closed :D

is everyone suppose to have a gtr?

if u had a lambo id dig that argument..

otherwise its too high :D

gtr's do sit way to high when stock, ill get it lowered a bit but nothing too crazy, ive got a couple shit speedbumps that are steeper on one side for some reason.

if i had a lambo i wouldnt worry about ride hight

dont get that part?

no offence id hardly call a r33 gtr iconic perhaps an r32 but aside from that the rest of them are "just gtrs" they dont really have much prestige about them at all or history they never achieved anything impressive.

not saying i dont like that i personally prefer it to an r32 but for me its all about rwd.. so its of little interest either way.

blags going tonight?

As usual, I expect an epic stance / fitment as that is what you turned me into.

I will not disappoint. If it wasn't for that kunce Nigel niggastealing the rims I was bidding on in yahoo I'd be sporting them right now.

funky is a novice offset nazi.

i way harsher than funky..:D

is true, compared to you. I'm just better at putting together words to make people know they fail. You're still pretty though.

Shan has changed my life :P

You're still an emo phag. Apparently not enough change.

like fuck he does

is true. I laugh at your misery.

Cuz you are an angry man!

refer to evo driver rant.

Hey funky, do they make any wheels you want? Hmmm maybe some custom wheels will be good for me, at least that way no-one can have the same wheels as me lolll

They only make outers and inners. Work Meister S1's are the only 3 piece rim that can be disassembled by muppets like us as they're only glued and bolted together, not welded like other 3 piece wheels. All racing 3P wheels are bolted like simmons etc. These guys manufacture outers for simmons.

hmm blags you've got me contemplating getting my wheels powdercoated in black in the future

Powdercoat centre black, and the dish white. Do it. Let your nuts hang low.

so you dont like lambo's then?

Only if you're prepared to be met with: "yeah congratulations dickhead, you know how to throw more money than the rest of us at someone for a generic car, rather than take the time to personalise it. Let me get you a fucking prize for your hard work and effort."

jealous much lol.

nah phuck that. white = washing the wheels every two days. nuts are low enough already thanks, im gonna focus on my car for the time being

guess it looks better on a white car.

ex-white-001.jpg

oh yeah, totally green lol.

how much do you owe the bank?

not as much as you would think. i worked and saved my ass off to make sure i had alot of coin in the bank for one of these and once i sell my other car i can put all that money straight on the loan as well, shouldnt take long to get rid of it all.

    • You are selling this? I have never bought something from marketplace...i dont know if i trust that enough. And the price is little bit "too" good...

    • It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about. Reliability of everything in a 34 drops MASSIVELY above the 300kw mark. Keeping everything going great at beyond that value will cost ten times the $. Clutches become shit, gearboxes (and engines/bottom ends) become consumable, traction becomes crap. The good news is looking legalish/actually being legal is slighly under the 300kw mark. I would make the assumption you want to ditch the stock plenum too and want to go a front facing unit of some description due to the cross flow. Do the bends on a return flow hurt? Not really. A couple of bends do make a difference but not nearly as much in a forced induction situation. Add 1psi of boost to overcome it. Nobody has ever gone and done a track session monitoring IAT then done a different session on a different intercooler and monitored IAT to see the difference here. All of the benefits here are likely in the "My engine is a forged consumable that I drive once a year because it needs a rebuild every year which takes 9 months of the year to complete" territory. It would be well worth deciding where you want to go and what you care about with this car.
    • By "reverse flow", do you mean "return flow"? Being the IC having a return pipe back behind the bumper reo, or similar? If so... I am currently making ~250 rwkW on a Neo at ~17-18 psi. With a return flow. There's nothing to indicate that it is costing me a lot of power at this level, and I would be surprised if I could not push it harder. True, I have not measured pressure drop across it or IAT changes, but the car does not seem upset about it in any way. I won't be bothering to look into it unless it starts giving trouble or doesn't respond to boost increases when I next put it on the dyno. FWIW, it was tuned with the boost controller off, so achieving ~15-16 psi on the wastegate spring alone, and it is noticeably quicker with the boost controller on and yielding a couple of extra pounds. Hence why I think it is doing OK. So, no, I would not arbitrarily say that return flows are restrictive. Yes, they are certainly restrictive if you're aiming for higher power levels. But I also think that the happy place for a street car is <300 rwkW anyway, so I'm not going to be aiming for power levels that would require me to change the inlet pipework. My car looks very stock, even though everything is different. The turbo and inlet pipes all look stock and run in the stock locations, The airbox looks stock (apart from the inlet being opened up). The turbo looks stock, because it's in the stock location, is the stock housings and can't really be seen anyway. It makes enough power to be good to drive, but won't raise eyebrows if I ever f**k up enough for the cops to lift the bonnet.
    • There is a guy who said he can weld me piping without having to cut chassis, maybe I do that ? Or do I just go reverse flow but isn’t reverse flow very limited once again?
