theres an 07 with 4500kms for 49driveaway and an 08 with 12000kms and full lether for 52k driveaway id say the 08 is better value but i rkn you'd get more discount on the 07 because its an 07

auto/manual? i have driven both in the ssv prefer the auto for everyday

nah most agents drive bmws/lexus/merc/audi well the decent ones the average ones drive mazda's/honda's etc

i just need something suitable for towing and i dont see myself in a 4x4 could get a lexus gs430 4.3ltr v8 would probably do the job but not sold on teh look of em

i rkn ve's look tits.

Only said coz my mate's brother drives one, and I've seen another agent cruising round in one round here..

I went to band camp once....No wild stories to tell though :(

What happened billy? Was that u who got airlifted from floods?

I went caving, popped out half way in... Thought I'd be hardcore and keep going but it popped out again soo I tied it up and didn't use it the rest of the time! Was a mission to get out!!

yeh thats what i was thinking would be the case but there is a fair price difference from the 6ltr to the 6.2ltr..

Driven both, you might notice a slight difference in 2nd gear but nothing major.

LS2 + exhaust and you have the LS3 beat. I'd still go the LS3 though just cos newer and moar engine

VE clubsport must be the real estate agent car of choice

seems more like the soccer mum/milf car of choice around here

I Fkn hated school camps never did that shot

Yeh I dunno Dezz they are good cars k rkn

Just went for a drive in my mates brothers Clubsport GXP or GSP or whatever the f**k it's called....not too impressive for what thy cost..

gxp is pox no offence but i duno how they convinced anyone to buy it its below a clubsport but above an ss.

its fail written all over it. looks like shite without spoiler an shit

*coulnt afford a clubsport (real hsv) didnt want a ss like a pleb so i got the ghey spec in the middle*

claimed 0-100 of 4.9 seconds for the gxp aint that bad for a 60k car. not many cars leave showroom floor doing that kind of figure i wouldnt think for under 100k.

shame it still looks shit doesnt even have hsv tail LED taillights

lol yeah he was trying to explain where it fits in the Holden lineup...Average either way imo...Interior is nothing special, wheels look shit house etc...performance wasn't really impressing me either for so much $

I might be biased though, I was always a Ford man, but these days I can't see myself buying anything other than a Skyline/GTR etc...

the new ford supercharged engine is insane however i just hate the look of ford loved BA but they lost me after that.

yeh gxp is shit but i dunno man 0-100 in 5secs for a daily car that will run forever no headaches like a skyline for example is pretty good imo.

dunno havent been inside a gxp but the clubbys and stuff arent to bad. Plus your getting a heck of an engine, brake setup etc so i spose the money is in things you dont see so easily

Suitable daily driver you can tow and comfortably carry 4 passengers with / performance car when you need it to be = appeal to GXP. Seems to be a bit of an all rounder. I see the appeal to it because I would use it for all these things, but can see how people don't find it appealing.

at least the R8 get lights to separate it from the rest of the lineup...

I'm not saying it wasn't powerful etc, but when you've driven a car with power and a more sporty feel, I guess it's harder to be impressed. Get the Force 6 or whatever they're calling it these days, luxury and performance all in one. The FG's look crazy if done right

    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
    • I also used NP   That’s were it’s seems to be the best place to fit it? All schematic shows also that it’s should be referenced from the turbo housing. But idk, I do see high hp cars without any connection or anything to their turbos, so I really don’t know how they connect their things
    • I do have loctite 243 and 246 and a few more models. I could drill it now in place and make new threads for m12 and order an4 - m12 coupling and fit that to the turbo. Run a braided hose to the EBC which I could get a an4 to 1/8npt
