I wonder if we can coax Kando Dynamic to get the GTR style cast's so we can see some epic T517Z and T618Z action on the GTR.

They have the cores on shelf already.

i went for a drive in a 400+kw r34 gtr with a hks 2.8ltr and gtrs (big track car build from japan, big brakes ect ) on it and i absolutly couldnt wait to get in it, id been in and driven a few cars including a track prepped 2.6ltr with 2530s but never such a wild build like this, altough the r34 pulled like a train once past around 5000rpm, in all honesty it wasnt really exciting at all, nowhere near as exciting as the track r33 with 360kw, i mean the r34 had to back off at about 180( on a private road of course) as he was running out of road but i guess it all depends on what your after, im sure on the track this 34 may have been a different story all together, but i personaly think that the gtrs turbos he was running were way to big for his application(2.8ltr and street car), let alone a 2.6ltr, i mean im not sure what your after but by the time the power is unleashed its going twice the speed limit,

im sure there would be proven setups on the gtrs on 2.6s out there, but im just goin by my own experiences ,

but if its a drag car or set up for big tracks then by all means, i cant remember if twoogle was a 2.6 or stroked, but that pulled a 9 so depends on your application i guess

twoogle was a 2.6ltr with gtrs's & that made over 550awkw.

you are right though, horses for courses & personal aspirations...my rb2630 with -10s pulled like a train but didnt have the same rush up top as my rb26 with gtrs's.

you are either a 2 stroke man or 4 stroke man, i like my 2 strokes

yeah he sure did but they were not in factory position....

apexi RX6s are some cool high mount twins for a GTR too. there a lots of high mount options but -10s/GTRS are the biggest low mounts. the -10s with the big rear housings are for all purposes useless in twin form on a GTR even if it is a 3L.

Couldn't agree more. I have that setup on my car ATM and its a completely useless setup both on the street and on a track (like Wakefield).

RS's = bin, -5's = take their spot!

U need to try bigger cams like 290's. Will premote earlier spool and more power with ur RS's

Gtrs making 550awkw 737awhp I'm sure that number keeps growing??

And I still don't understand why ppl think big cams don't work when it has been proven by workshops I know of...look at rips racings stealth r34 which is a torque monster and runs 290's!

Was proven on twoogle. Made 50kw more and around 1000rpm more response

Can you confirm it was on the same engine/head setup just different cams?? He had the GTRS's on his near stock engine aswell. From memory it was a complete new engine just the same GTRS turbo setup that gained the power and response.. I remember reading a classic post of his on GTRUK forum when someone was comparing garrett to his beloved HKS turbos he came in and said well go try making X amount of power on your GT4202 as i did on my $4000+T51R SPL forgetting he already told everyone his turbo had a GT45 wheel upgrade.. Apples to oranges...

^ LOL.

    • Can I suggest you try EBC directly again and link them to as many competitor catalogues as you can to show their listing is incorrect, eg https://dba.com.au/product/front-4000-series-hd-brake-rotor-dba42304/ If you have access to an R33 GTST VIN and your VIN, you could also use a Nissan Parts lookup like Amayama to show them the part number is different between 33 GTST and 34 GTT which may get their attention
    • So i got reply from EBC and they just this site where you can clearly see those 296mm fronts on R34 GTT. I send them photos and "quotes" that 296mm are not for 34 GTT and they are too small. But it will be very hard to return them cuz nobody here knows 100% and they just copy those EBC catalogue :-D https://ebcbrakesdirect.com/automotive/nissan/skyline-r34
    • Hi, is the HKS  Tower Bar still available ? negotiable ? 🤔
    • From there, it is really just test and assemble. Plug the adapter cables from the unit into the back of the screen, then the other side to the car harness. Don't forget all the other plugs too! Run the cables behind the unit and screw it back into place (4 screws) and you should now have 3 cables to run from the top screen to the android unit. I ran them along the DS of the other AV units in the gap between their backets and the console, and used some corrugated tubing on the sharp edges of the bracket so the wires were safe. Plug the centre console and lower screen in temporarily and turn the car to ACC, the AV should fire up as normal. Hold the back button for 3 sec and Android should appear on the top screen. You need to set the input to Aux for audio (more on that later). I put the unit under the AC duct in the centre console, with the wifi antenna on top of the AC duct near the shifter, the bluetooth antenna on the AC duct under the centre console The GPS unit on top of the DS to AC duct; they all seem to work OK there are are out of the way. Neat cable routing is a pain. For the drive recorder I mounted it near the rear view mirror and run the cable in the headlining, across the a pillar and then down the inside of the a pillar seal to the DS lower dash. From there it goes across and to one USB input for the unit. The second USB input is attached to the ECUtec OBD dongle and the 3rd goes to the USB bulkhead connected I added in the centre console. This is how the centre console looks "tidied" up Note I didn't install the provided speaker, didn't use the 2.5mm IPod in line or the piggyback loom for the Ipod or change any DIP switches; they seem to only be required if you need to use the Ipod input rather than the AUX input. That's it, install done, I'll follow up with a separate post on how the unit works, but in summary it retains all factory functions and inputs (so I still use my phone to the car for calls), reverse still works like factory etc.
    • Place the new daughterboard in the case and mount it using the 3 small black rivets provided, and reconnect the 3 factory ribbon cables to the new board Then, use the 3 piggyback cables from the daughterboard into the factory board on top (there are stand offs in the case to keep them apart. and remember to reconnect the antenna and rear cover fan wires. 1 screw to hold the motherboard in place. Before closing the case, make a hole in the sticker covering a hole in the case and run the cable for the android unit into the plug there. The video forgot this step, so did I, so will you probably. Then redo the 4 screws on back, 2 each top and bottom, 3 each side and put the 2 brackets back on.....all ready to go and not that tricky really.
