My God.

That is THE nicest skyline I have seen in a long, long, long time. I nearly want bigger pics for desktop backgrounds. Its more than immaculate.

Whoever ends up with this is one lucky son of a bitch.

i'll see if Tharaka of 'Both Hands' graphic design (who took the shots) can provide some bigger ones.

You should make it a condition of sale that the new owner joins SAU and does at least one cruise a year.

I can only question one modification: the Nismo badge.

I didn't get the feeling that indicators and brake lines were the most important things on the car to you...why credit Nismo over anyone else?

(I have a genuine Nismo 'aero' front bar, and after all your talk about your east bear kit - looks awesome, I agree - I thought you'd have an East Bear Badge...)

i like the offset look, and unfortunately it would just look weird with the EB badge. It's the GTS-R badge and is meant to sit central in the front grille but it it just looks like an R badge, same as having it on the boot lid, it's too hard to see the 'S', so it just looks like a GTR badge.

I still have the original East Bear stickers as well, actually a variety of EB stickers came with it and the badge of course but wasn't really my thing really. I prefer a cleaner look, hence no nissan badge on the bootlid etc.

new owner will get all the stickers, badge if they want to use them :bunny:

I'd be really nice if it stayed on SAU, that's for sure :P

Hi

Thanks for the PM. Sorry I cant reply yet. I was looking for a white one but if I had the budget I would buy this. Its just a bit more than I can afford at the minute. If you dont sell for a while give me a call and I will see what i can do.

Thanks

Danny.

Trent @ Status did a compression test a few months back, but i can't remember what i did with all the #'s, he said compression test was great and very even across all cylinders, but i thought i'd get another one done as people might prefer an independent test.

Soo....

Chasers Motorworks, one of the top import workshops in Melb did a test for me, twice, and the results....

They were very happy with it, said it was running very well and said those numbers were pretty much perfect :)

I knew she was in good health, but didn't know she was that healthy :P I guess if you look after it, and make sure you have a great tuner, i suppose it shouldn't be so much of a surprise.

She's not just a pretty face :(

Im so amazed this hasnt sold, the one over here in WA sold pretty quick yet a porn black one hasnt? I dont understand.

Im still trying to talk the wife into letting me sell the 4 door and get this, its just not working :)

Also agree must stay in the community, THE nicest GT-T in AUS.

Price drop!

$29,990 :P

in case people haven't been keeping track, E85 is soon to be widely available across oz. This is car is ready to roll for either E85 or 98, and of course maps will be provided along with a USB consult cable to change.

And if you really wanted, you can install an ethanol content sensor in the fuel tank and load the correct map accordingly, or have a trick ECU interpolate between two maps :O

In a month or two, this is where it will be available.

man i think you should just keep it lol. still cant believe your selling it and its not sold yet. my car was a POS compared to this with not much price difference comparing how much more your car is better then what mine was. you will find a buyer eventually.

im thinking about putting the chaser back up for sale and jumping in another skyline again.

come back in style mate :worship: Would be great for it stay within SAU, let alone within SAU Vic! And a big plus is you've got Trent here who knows the car backwards pretty much if you wanted to play a bit with it :)

    • Yes, I know🙄 but the sequential is not in my budget... don't want to reduce power neither, so looks like I'm stuck in the rabbit hole🤣

    • So.... the K&N air box thingo was too big, ended up gifting it to a mate, well, by gifting it he actually supplied food and beer at the pub,  which was nice, as it will not sit on a shelf in the garage for the next 10 years I did trim up some of the existing stuff to neaten it all up and gave it some wrinkle paint, unfortunately it currently has a used and abused mish mash of different types of hose clamps, 4 big fat T bolt type (shit), and a few normal clamps of vairing sizes and brands, but..... only until the 6 constant tension black worm clamps that I ordered from EFI solutions turn up next week Currently the current hose clamps are triggering me hard, LOL Is this the final version, probably not, I really want just 2 silicone pieces, a straight bit of silicone from the filter to the MAF is easy and will happen as soon as I head into Just Jap tomorrow, the problematic part is a 30° silicone bend from the MAF to the TB that I can connect the engine breather from the head, I found that there are bulk head fittings for boat bilge pumps that should work, but until I can get a 30° silicone bend the alloy pipe, and the 11ty thousand hose clamps, are there for the foreseeable future 4 hose clamps are golden, 6 are grudgingly acceptable, the 8 currently holding it all together is just taking the piss    I've also ordered 60 more retaining wall blocks for the front yard, I mis-gonculated the height that was required to get above the base of the Photinia's (red robin's) that are the hedge behind the front fence, currently it is 2 blocks high, and about 1/2 a block short, so going 3 blocks high will be above the base of the red robin's, and allow some room for mulch
