Can't think of a single car that I wouldn't want black. Bitch to keep clean but it really does just work with anything. Though I am getting partial now to satin finishes. I saw a territory (of all things) the other day that was a similar colour to that millenium jade r34 (olive green) but in flat/matte rather than gloss..... Not bad....

I'm thinking of having my black 33 resprayed in satin black but I'm worried it will come out looking as though I badly need to polish it.....

R33 GTR , KR4 sonic silver is another rare one. I always wanted midnight purple but them i saw a KR4 in real life and i had to have it. No regrets!

For black to look perfect, all the swirls need to be polished out > sealer > canauba

Eugene of JDM Performance (here on SAU) deserves the credit on that 'Pearl Black' above.

Silver looks terrific too on R34s. You only need to see the Z-Tune GT-R to be convinced of that.
