i dont get how this is question is asked so often if u want the prices check car sales or trade car view .com

better off @ the horses mouth, a good friend works as an auction agent and is forever sending through tempting 34's and 35's.... they have around 100 auctions to trawl each week its amazing.

missed out on a grade 5 black r35 that went for 5,969,380 plus 7% agents fee, cry most nights over it :P

I get constant shit from my car mates because i have a grey one .... Lol.

I sought out a grey one, which made choosing a lot easier LOL.

There's a $34k Bayside Blue V-Spec for import from Prestige. Pretty good value with books, despite the 140k kms on it.

yeah mate, black and midnight purple are the 'money colours' in 34 GTR. not 50% premium but there definitely is a premium for those colours. mainly due to lack of supply. The more common the colour generally the less desirable. bayside blue is a bit of an exception, there is heaps of them but they are still sought after.

yeah bayside is not my favourite 34 colour. actually the silver/grey is my favourite. I'd take black over blue too and you are right the blue does date the car a bit as a late 90s auto-mobile.

still had to beat gun metal grey on a 32 though... :P

yay, i got a good colour, its midnight purple 2, big thanks to iron chef for that one, should have it in my garage in a week or 2 as well

Used a import calculator on this

LOL Don't get me wrong, I love the colour, it's just.... so does everyone else with a 32 GT-R in Australia. Haha.

I bought my R34 Gtr Vspec almost 1 year ago now.. i actually got it off a private seller on these forums... but when I was looking at importing a vspec model their were cheap models then going for $55k but they had around 80k and pretty much standard with some minor cosmetic damage like straches and scuffs, etc.

So I after almost putting a deposit on a decent one which would of ended up costing $64k I stumbled across the local one and got it looked over and grabbed it.. got it for inbetween a standard cheap one in japan and a decent one in japan and its heavily modified...

When u have the money in bank or your hand then really start looking and talk to brokers some have posted in this thread and tell them exactly what u want and then you will find out exactly whats there... or u might get lucky and find a nice one locally just make sure u get it inspected by a performance workshop... Because when I was looking around there was alot of duds.

I got my BSB 34 because I love that colour. Black looks mean but after previous black cars I swore once I went black, I'd never go back because I just couldn't keep the damn thing clean for more than 12 hours. For me also I preferred an unmolested and stock example, so mine is stock apart from the wheels.

If not BSB then most likely the charcoal grey. The 34 MNP colours don't suit it in my opinion and the chamelion MNPIII is really paint that screams from the hypercolour era...about as fashionable as spinners on your rims these days. 33GTR is fine with the MNP, not 34.

White is also great for a 34gtr, I think the main problems being it's sometimes hard for ppl to recognise as a GTR, they assume it's your bog standard GTT. Most BSB 34's are GTR's though :D

yep and I think you'll find the 36k kms unlikely :)

    • Hi...so a "development" here aswell The swap is "done" and car went "test drive" BUT it seems the clutch(maybe gearbox?) is a little bit sad? I bought this clutch kit https://justjap.com/products/xtreme-heavy-duty-organic-clutch-flywheel-kit-nissan-skyline-r31-r32-r33-push-type "Problem" is that the first gear is hard to put into and it seems that the clutch is not disengaged. It was not the problem with the old clutch...(or like sometime the first gear would not get as easy specialy when the fluid was cold) So? Can it be like...bad "install" or is the clutch wrong ((it should not have been) i done research to get the right one) Or is this "normal" with new clutch and needs to be break in?
    • @Duncan I can try  and thanks i did not thought about VIN and part numbers for 33/34. @GTSBoy yeah it looks like iam gonna do that
    • Forgot to include this but this is the mid section of my steering rack that looks like it has a thread/can be turned with that notch mentioned in the post:
    • Hey everyone, Wanted to pick some brains about this issue I'm having with rebuilding my 33 rack (PN is 49001-19U05). All of the tutorials/videos I've seen online are either R34 or S Chassis racks which seem to be pretty straightforward to disassemble but this process doesnt carry over to my rack. Few of the key differences that I've noted The pinion shaft on the other racks bolt on with 3 torx bolts: Whereas my rack bolts on with 2 allen head bolts: These changes are pretty inconsequential but the main difference is how you pull the actual rack out of the housing. The other skyline/s chassis racks can be taken out by tapping the rack out of the body with a socket and it just slides right out. I'm unable to do that with my rack because there's a hard stop at the end that doesn't let the seal/shaft be tapped out. Can also see a difference in the other end of the rack where mine has a notch that looks like you're able to use a big wrench to unthread 2 halves of the rack whereas the other racks are just kinda set in with a punch. My rack: Other racks: TLDR; Wanted to know if anyone has rebuilt this specific model of steering rack for the R33 and if there were any steps to getting it done easier or if I should just give this to a professional to get done. Sorry if this post is a bit messy, first one I've done.
    • I would just put EBC back on the "I would not use their stuff" pile and move on.
