Japanese Muscle Car

All Aggressive!

Stream line with a tough look!

IMO The shape of the head lights made it loose it's "Angry" look and went an all rounder everywhere else.

Yet the R33 GTR can still pull off a strong stance.

Just got to do it right.

they all look great!

i prefer the 33 interior/dash over the 32 by far. and thats a deal breaker for me.

back when i had little knowledge of skylines, and no bias, i looked inside a 32 and went 'eeew dude, no way'.

but........ now i appreciate them all.

Owned a R34 GTR VSPEC gunmetal grey with garrett gt2860-5 turbos, power FC....greatest car ever.

Sold that and after a year....got a R33GTR VSPEC. Great in it's own way.....R32GTR maybe a little dated now.

And came with twin hi mounts....HKS To4R. HKS forged internals.

All are nice and most people end up buying 33 over 32 mainly because of age. Like someone mentioned before the interior of the 32 is a huge turn off. And 33 is seriously the best value for money with the brembos, revised gearbox etc.

Anyway I'm not a huge fan of the 33 to begin with but it grew in me after owning one.

Never owned a 33, but in the end, there is nothing wrong with the 33GTR.

I've seen some beauties, just have to be careful what wheels you fit due to there being so much room in there!lol.

yes it was GOD_Speed

i dunno if it's terry's son though. no clue!!!

but yes - that IS the GTR i was talking about! good spotting... that is probably up there with being one of my favves on this site!

If we take the GTR guise out of all of these models. Does it change your views?

The most common comment in here is "it's still a GTR" the differences in styling, performance and features greatly differs when you consider the GTS-T etc platforms.

well ive owned a 33 gtst and now a 32 gtst... and for me.. the 33 was the better "car". i used it on the weekends... and it was a nicer place to be and the nicer car to drive than the 32.. everything was much cleaner and tighter.. and i felt less embarassed driving it places.. it was epic clean, sounded great and looked great and i didnt have to worry about it, reliablity wise.. all the buttons worked.. all the lights lit up.. it was great.

r34 gtt's look rubbish... hate everything about them... love the 34 gtr's though.

i have a 32 now to make a track car.. but if i was going to have a weekend car again i would be going the 33 route.. gtr or gtst.

    • Hi from Canada, Both of my calipers are starting to fail. My car is a 2005 M35 Stagea ARX and I can't seem to find any parts or any cross reference caliper that would fit my car. Is there a company or a similar caliper that would fit and I could replace the OEM one. Or if anyone knows where I can find a new OEM. Any help is very appreciated. Let me know!
    • Maf is a question mark but TPS  I have set at 0.47, the fact that I’m getting proper voltage range out of it with the key on leads me to believe it’s functioning properly. I’m getting proper voltages on basically everything. I still need to look up voltage ranges for z32 maf and test that
    • Honestly no not at all, but it’s a very basic tune, it’s stock injectors q45 tps and z32 maf. Other than that it’s a completely stock base map. The file is from nistune and from my understanding if it was tune related I would be able to unplug maf and tps and it would still start even if it was a really shitty start. I have tried starting it with coolant temp, maf, and tps unplugged none of those 3 togethor or individually changes anything

    • What does it look like with highway driving? And yes, I had a similar thought as Duncan. It looks quite similar in my Stagea and I have made myself accept it as normal. Might have to look into it some day   Highway gets as low as 10l/100km on my end so I'm not as worried about it being a mechanical issue. More likely just the tune on the haltech.
