1700kg+ R35 Around Wakefield In 1:01.34 Seconds?

Recommended Posts

Heads up for those who track in NSW; i believe a new benchmark has been grafted today at Wakefield. Marek ran a stunning 1:01.37, mods include catback, Willall E85 tune, FIXED wing, new slicks and a talented driver.

Insane.

I believe Marek is driving the kids to school tomorrow morning in the car too!

R35: The supercar for anyone, anytime, anywhere. Nissan delivered today!

I am simply amazed at what this car can do with some simple mods.

Congratulations Marek.

Now, where's my chequebook....

Excellent work Marek.

How did you find the new tyres?

Duncan I am sure with a little more development sub 1 min is possible.....and there aren't many tin tops that have gone under 1min there.

wow thats moving... congrats Marek.

Dunc, Marek I know you guys love to track your cars and are setting benchmarks at EC and Wakefield but seriously have you guys thought about coming to Sprint Bathurst in Nov?

Maybe you have driven the mountain before??? but you MUST get your GTR's to Bathurst and have ago with 09GTR and myself this year.

After you run 80+ laps around Bathurst hitting 280-290kmph down Conrod you probably wont want to go back to Wakefield????

I did a couple of hillclimbs at Bathurst earlier this year, good fun.

Not sure i will have time or the budget for sprint bathurst to be honest, too many other events happening. Also with the frequency of bathurst events (one per year?) not sure it would ever be enough!

Thanks guys

I was going to post it tonight but Duncan bit me to it :whistling:

Martin, thanks for the tune, the amount of power is unbelievable the car was spinning wheels in 3rd gear

The new slicks work very well I wish I could afford to have new slicks for every track day.

I think with well setup good suspension sub 1 min is possible

    • Yeah I also looked at Plazmaman, but, it ended up alot  cheaper getting black ones through EFI when you also added in the delivery cost
    • Nice shot! They look super clean. The roof rack delete on the black one is interesting. Would like to see more pictures from different angles. It's subtle but could make quite a difference to how the car looks in profile.
