Hello,

Finally registered my own account (was previously using my friends account, akajonz).

I'm really looking forward to this! and have been edging to go for weeks now.

I'll be driving a honda, so please be gentle on the straights. 120kw ftl :D

play around with tourismo on the track, you should be similar if not his a little faster on the straights

this one time, at band camp, he beat us all with a starlet.

hey Ando, thanks for organizing, well done.

Quick question, maybe i missed it, is there any seperate passenger sessions or are they along for the ride in the various groupings.

Looking forward to the day and hope the weather is kind to us.

cheers Ron

Dah, I wanted to go head to head with Reece. If my times come down I'll see if I can move to group 1 on the day.

Dude i'm happy to swap with you if you've got a bit of a rivalry going?

dont encourage him to do that, he is in our group, that means less track time for us.

Don't worry, I have no plans to go play in the sand!

I do however plan on geting an award for "Seriously Cass, fix your f**king car or we will ban you from life!" or to the same effect

Not what the day is designed for, going 'head to head'. Sorry mate, i have to be very clear that this is a 'driver trainer day' and we will not accept any form of racing, we are not covered for that and the whole reason we are allowed passengers!

There will be no bumping up of cars because of 'times' as it is a non-timed event. Only movement will be if there is a clear mis-match of speed between cars in a particular group.

Ron - Mate, passengers are able to go out in every single session, all day long :laugh:

yes can overtake, but when it is safe and the slower car will still hold the line, faster car is responsibile for passing.

no passing/diving under brakes.

all this will be discussed on driver breifing

my two cents;

if you are finding yourself right on the back of a car and wanting some room, an option is to just come into the pit entry. drive SLOWLY down pit lane and back out onto the track at the pit exit (make sure you have the wave-on from the pit exit marshall). this puts you on the opposite end of the track of the car you were hounding and you dont have to worry about executing an overtake. just a thought.

also, many thanks ando! looks great

    • We have a huge update coming in the next few months, version 5 of Invision will be released. I'm holding off any changes until after this change as I'm not sure what features will be removed or introduced.
    • Yeah, plenty of air flow, there is a dedicated path that feeds the air in to the OEM intake tube behind the bumper As for a "tangible effect", maybe, but getting the pod/intake air out of the hot engine bay is worth it psychologically to me, even if it gives no performance difference, so the tangible effect in my Lizard brain saysss yessss  In the end, to me a tangible effect isn't always about performance, sometimes it a sound or a look, or even a...... feeling  Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga Ooga-Chaka Ooga-Ooga
    • yeah first and reverse is where you will find clutch release issues (whether hydraulic or mechanical) because the difference in revs required is the highest there; particularly changing down from 2nd to 1st when still moving. To be clearer though, it is possible that the clutch release bearing is the wrong height. This is less likely than a hydraulic issue but it is not unheard of when you are mixing and matching
    • Quite right, if you make it to that pension you deserve every cent
    • Hi all, Restoring r33 series 1 rb25det. All the heater hoses were on their way out, have replaced them and put it all back together. After testing I noticed a small leak from behind the head on the actual metal water line to the turbo when cars warm. I tried running a longer hose over it but it kept leaking...   I am about to take the (stock) manifold off again😔 to change the water line does any one have any lines they recommend? I was looking at Aeroflow Turbo Oil & Water Line Set but not sure what everyone else recommends. Car is completely stock but want to upgrade turbo eventually. it looks like ill have to disconnect a lot just to replace these lines so if there's anything else recommended to do please let me know. Thank you in advance!
