Just grab the usual injector, pump and ECU upgrade and enjoy the power. I assume you have a manifold and know this wont go near bolting up to the std manifold. If you decide its too laggy for you then I have an 8cm housing that will bring it on qbout 300-400rpm earlier that i would be interested in swapping for your 10cm housing

my favourite RB25 turbo setup. I have done about 6 or 7 now. The latest was low mount external gate. 320rwkw on 18psi completely std internals.

You will love it, should be reliable if done correctly.

This is a customers 4door R33 (std internals apart from 260 drop in cams and no vct) 6boost manifold, blitz gate and T67....

320kw!

that is massive... i've got 280kw with 17psi

Ill be making a manifold or adaptor myself. What is the boost limt i can run and what power at which psi have you guys seen with this setup? Also where can i get springs for the trust wastegate?

i have a high mount trust manifold here i've been tryin to sell if you want, make me a reasonable offer and its yours.

Just had the car pictured above on the dyno, only change was we fitted a set of Camtech drop in's (http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Rb20-Rb26-Rb26-Camshaft-t308743.html) Car still has std head and bottom end.

Blue is before cams.

Red is after cams.

Nope, thats why ill get it going on say 7psi now, then buy pump , injectors etc. Any more advice or info to help me along?

dude

seriously u should listen to what ppl are saying, dont just go strap on a large turbo with no supporting mods

a

just do the basic stuff

ecu or piggyback

injectors

nice dump pipe and exhaust mods

and a turbo manifold

fuel pump

then the other stuff later, u will f**k something up by doing it the way u intend on doing it, + the lag that will happen and then only 7psi comes thru might as well leave it stock till u can afford to do it properly

It seems you have missed the OP's topic all together.

He is asking what else is needed once he has this turbo bolted on, and what he can do with it in the meantime. I dont see an issue, chill.

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
