I ain't changed man, the game did...they f**ked with my merchandise. Now I don't believe in nothin' no more.

lol

i hear he is a forum reader also so hai officer poptart :D

Bahahaha officer poptart. Have to remember that one. Where are our legends and stories? I heard he was lying dying in a ditch on the side of Stud Road whilst a group of imports drove past fluttering and flaunting their screamer pipes without stopping to help. But a completely factory Hyundai Excel stopped to help and revive him...and in that short moment he declared war on all modified vehicles...before defecting the Hyundai.

Or he is probably trying to find all our IP address then trying find our address and then trying to locate all our houses and stalk us o.O

no car sorry, he can defect an empty garage for all i care.

or that lawnmower in place of my supra.

i always thought that the lowest part was measured before and after the axles too. I still got canaried for my second exhaust pipe that runs right under my rear diff for being 10mm too low. would have liked to have had a chat with the officer further about this rule cause his attitude was alright, event though he popped a U-turn and chased me down for 2k's for a "Random" check, and sent me an EPA on my exhaust without telling me....f**kker!

old smart ass vic roads guy checking the car next to mine when i was clearing it made a "have fun with this one" comment to his colleague who was checking my car, implying that i was a typical hoon with a bag full of dodgy illegal mods. f**kkk you too mr vic roads guy you f**kk face! took 2 secs to clear it. end RANT! lol

LOL

thats why you should just drive around with no muffler, an atmo BOV and screamer pipe. so if you get defected at least you deserve it :(

yes to all....however its the epa that owns me...

I got a $292 fine a couple weeks ago by an epping TMU for being too low (70mm)

I had a full car load. He let me off without a defect.

Couldve been worse if he tells me to pop my bonnet. Guess i was lucky.. kinda. lol

Knox, rowville , fertreegully. He hangs alot around stud road.

Yep, so pretty much all around where I live :P

I've had a couple of run-ins with him... never did he even accuse me of doing anything stupid, just wanted to slap the yellow sticker on...

The first time was for tires getting bald... fair enough, I was already booked in for new ones, so yeah, I guess I deserved that one :(, the second time was for "not enough padding on steering wheel"... , and the third time because I'd forgotten to pay my rego... literally 2 days overdue :(

Each time he had to completely chuck a U-turn and 'chase' me (i.e. exceed the speed limit) to catch me... obviously he sees the hotplate taillights and something just snaps! The first time, he handed me the defect and I saw the name and looked at him (he wasn't wearing a name tag?) ... he said "Recognise my name, hey?" when I just smiled, he said "So, am I as mean and nasty as everyone says I am?"... I chose to hold my tongue on that one :P

haha thumbs up!

I was spewin that it wasnt low enough.

    • Thanks for doing that Duncan! Makes you a good person in my books. We don't get kangaroos or wombats here. But we have bats and it's similar. AFAIK it's often the mums with a baby attached that get hit because they drop lower when starting from a tree. If you hit an animal, check on it. https://www.ifaw.org/au/resources/wildlife-rescue-app An app to get the closest wildlife rescue contact.
    • My dream is also to have a proper hoist, but I don't think it will ever happen. My quickjack is probably as close as I'll ever get, it really is very good though.
    • Yeah we keep on in the dailies, it is pretty poor how many animals get hit and the driver leaves without checking....have saved a couple of little ones over the years. Bit of a gruesome job though, pouches generally need to be cut open because they are so tight and often the joey doesn't realise mum is gone so they are still locked onto the teat. I checked the modules in front of the DS wheel where an oil cooler should go.... There is the radar unit - that can go for race use) One of the 2 HX water pumps, the silver cylinder. That needs to be kept but might be able to be relocated But the bad news, the big computer mounted vertically in front of the wheel (blocking any potential air exit) is the electric steering computer. That is required until/unless i do a hydraulic steering conversion, and in CAD based modern car design it is not like I can just pop a big unit like that somewhere else (plus the loom would be too short anywhere else too). So, the passenger side is OK to clear out (just use a smaller washer reservoir, potentially elsewhere), but the DS no beuno
    • Well, all the best with the new camry It was interesting to hear about the UK process, it is generally a lot more streamlined here with a shipping agent looking after all the import side (noting the exact final price can still be a surprise.....) and I've used a few different brokers on the japan (or US) side, and never had any trouble with any of them....luck of the draw I guess. You mentioned you didn't get the auction sheet (understandable since you bought it from a dealer, not auction), but I always try and get hold of that because they are pretty thorough. I've imported 2x R grade vehicles over the years and both were fine, repairs in Japan are pretty thorough compared to here in Oz.
    • BTW I measured the jack I have, it is 70mm at the saddle but you only have about 700 until it returns to 150mm high at the cylinder so it is good but no magic bullet.
